The seat is firm and slightly higher than the chair it was replacing and that was ideal for me. The decline is a bit stiff to use but that will settle down with usage. In all it is good value for the price.

The arm edges are quite uncomfortable. Can feel the wood under legs on foot rest. The shape and size Is fine, some more padding would make a big difference
