- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 September 2017Affordable LuxuryFirstly I must point out that the chair is indeed quite low but to counteract this, it is deceivingly sturdy for bad backs. My mother bought two fabric massage recliners at a combined cost of just over £2,000 so by comparison this is very fairly priced. I have three slipped discs in the lumbar region and mild scoliosis so wanted a chair that produced some soothing vibration but one that didn't break the bank. As other reviewers have stated, this chair is conveniently light to move. Also, you can tuck the footstool to one side when not in use whilst it is still connected to the chair.I was slightly concerned that my cat would show an interest in sleeping on it and clawing the leather but thankfully he has shown no interest. The leather is soft and I aim to use some protective spray on it periodically. Here it is assembled - taken at night so excuse the dim bulb.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 June 2019Damage to the base...Yes now it's assembled it is very comfortable - however, don't believe the advert details: easy to assemble, as it does take a fair bit of brute strength to aline the back, with the base. I wish now I'd had someone to help. The delivery of my chair was delayed due to another driver telling me my post code didn't show up on the company satnav and I ended up having to stay in a whole day, again! The real issue is the worst of all - the black ring attached to the base, to enable the chair to swivel was broken totally in half - I was so annoyed that the return of such a big item would be more hassle I used a strong adisive...So, it was a hassle, really all through the process...
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 September 2017Overall very good massage and relaxation chair.It was a bit of a pain to build solo but I did manage it, though I'm very weak and lacking in dexterity due to disability.The massage function is actually very effective and relaxes my muscles very effectively. My only complaint is that there are no instructions included to explain the various different settings or to guide me on usage.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 October 2019Poor DesignMainly the arms, and no support in the back, The arms very badly designed end to the arm where you rest your hands, the wood or most probably ply is not rounded of on the corners, as an ex carpenter / joiner of many years [ 40 ] ish I would never have sent a job of hand made furniture out without an Aris or curve on the arm rest as this helps to protect the covering, not at all in this case so I don't expect it to last very long.As for comfort unfortunately after about ten minutes you can feel every motor in the back, also the stool is only any good for legs, as sitting on it is most uncomfortable, so I suppose you only get what you pay for, I now know I should have paid out just a bit more and got a descent one, you would have thought that after all the years I was in the game I would have learnt, sadly no so I don't think it will last much longer before I buy a new and more comfortable one.

A pity because it's otherwise a nice chair. This is unfair on manufacturers who sell genuine synthetic materials and honestly advertise them as such.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 15 January 2014Good but missing head rest, shipment with defect quickly replacedI work from home and have "discovered" nursing chairs as ideal work chairs back in 2005. After two metal framed nursing chairs successfully worn out and broken (each lasted 4 year or so of heavy use) I find out that there are no metal-framed black nursing chairs on offer in the UK, so I decided to buy this one.I got the chair on time but find out that the welding was not done correctly on one armrest supporting pipe so I reported the problem and the supplier quickly (within 2 days) replaced the delivered chair that had had the defect. Second try was successful and I've been using the chair last few days.The massaging part is fine but I don't plan to use it often - otherwise the chair is good, with one small issue - no headrest (or the shape makes the head laying too far back - the nursing chairs I used had the upper top part extended (or was it the shape of the part supporting the back) so the head naturally lays on it as on a cushion/pillow. This chair hasn't got it - so I've started using small cushion placed between my neck and the chair, to support the head while in usual 120 degrees position with feet up on the drawer in front of me, legs supporting my laptop. Obviously this is not relevant for someone wanting to relax and to have head back, looking at the ceiling, but for someone who works from it like me or who would like to watch telly from the chair for longer time, a kind of headrest would be convenient.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 February 2017SITTING PRETTYEarly days yet as it only arrived today. The parcel was on time and in one piece but marked curbside. However the driver brought it our first floor flat door without complaint. About 30mins to assemble and no major problem but a second pair of hands makes it easier to connect the back and seat. The seat can be fixed at any angle or left to move with you. Seat height and backrest height both fine but footstool is a little on the low side. Great value for money and l will order another next month. Our existing ones have a central pillar and are not stable. Those l would avoid.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 May 2015Amazing for the price!I ordered this chair at 3pm and 27 hours later I was enjoying a nice massage in it! Brilliant customer service! The chair itself is easy to assemble and very nice looking and comfortable. I can't believe what a bargain this is for the price. The only thing I would mention is, as another reviewer has said, it is smaller overall than I expected, so if you're a little on the large size (height or weight-wise) you may find it a bit of a squeeze. However, I am very pleased with my purchase!

- what is the max user weight please?Firstly be aware it isn't real leather. Padding is very thin and myself and my family only sit on it when our sofas are occupied. After a few minutes it becomes uncomfortable and we are certainly not heavyweights. We have put a big cushion on it which helps but it's not ideal. Hope this helps.
- How far will the chair recline ie, can I lie down horizontal or nearly flat.Hi Jack. I reckon it is about 10 degrees out of horizontal. Mine replaced a 100% leather chair, very expensive, but the leather cracked in the sunlight. I seldom use the vibration features. In conclusion very pleased with a very affordable chair. - How far does it recline?I’m wanting to use it so my clients can sit and have eyelashes/brows done.Can I reach them from behind?or is it to high?It reclines quite a way but not flat like a dentist's chair. Basically enough for having a nap. Reaching lashes/brows would depend on your seating position and your size. In my opinion you might have to work from the side but then you couldn't put your legs under the chair.
