Sit down and push back to extend the footrest or recline up to an almost sleeping position, and whenever you’re ready, kick back and sit right up. Push Back Mechanism Functionality;
To operate the Push Back mechanism place your hands on the arm rests of the recliner and in conjunction with pushing forward on the arms lean backwards using your bodyweight to recline the chair. The footrest will rise in unison with the back reclining. To return to the upright position, gently push the footrest down with your legs to lock it back into place; at the same time the back of the recliner to return to it's original position. As this chair work purely off the users body weight, as you lean your shoulders forward the chair will return to the original upright position.

I asked to have some control over when it came as I needed to arrange to be at home for it. delivery estimated it would arrive at the earliest on a Saturday which was perfect but it arrived via Yodel, on the Friday so a day too soon and I had to lose a days annual leave at very short notice to be in for it. also it was manhandled (rolled top over tail by the delivery guy) and when I opened it, one of the wings of the back had a small puncture in it where it had obviously knocked against another part of the internal mechanism. I would have sent it back but it had caused me the aggravation of the delivery so guess I will have to live with it. Hence my rating being only 3 stars

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 November 2020Nice looking chair, comfy.The bonded leather chair arrived today, and I must say, the delivery man was so helpful and nice, it's a large and hefty box, but together with my husband giving him a hand he delivered it right into the living room. That box large enough for social distancing, blimey. :-D A friendly delivery like that makes a big difference how you feel about what you get! The chair is straight forward enough to put together, if not a piece of cake, it's comfy and it looks good. The reason for just 4 rather than 5 stars is that a) bonded leather is a bit fragile, one of the corners already has a tiny tear, not so visible, but it wasn't there when we got it, just one touch with slipper soles must have done that. Socks only on the footrest then. Whether the chair suits you depends if you feel the seat cushion at 50x51cm is large enough, in retrospect I think I'd have liked it a bit bigger, for that cosy feel for my pear shape, and at 5'9" it's probably not the most perfect fit, but it's good enough to keep. The seat is pleasantly high to get out of, and has great lumbar support. I don't know how long it will last, but we'll be careful with it and hope for the best.

So easy to put together, literally took a few minutes, requiring no tools or know how. Reclined position is really comfortable too, a genuinely good looking piece for any room. Velvet material feels and looks great. Very impressed... quick delivery.... good value.... couldn't want more.Ps. I contacted the seller for a small query, and they replied very quickly.... great service.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 March 2020Perfect look and exceptional value!We have been saving for a recliner for our lounge from Next as we have a nice Next sofa. However, the Next product is £700. We ordered this recliner for a nursing chair and thought that if it arrived and was cheap looking/ functioning as we expected it to be then at least it wasn't in the main room of the house and would serve its purpose in a bedroom. How wrong we were! We love it so much that we are ordering a different colour for the lounge and scrapping the Next option all together. Honestly, I so pleasantly surprised by the quality of this chair! I am 9 months pregnant and my partner unboxed it all on delivery and then took a shower. By the time he was out, I had the legs on the seat and the wings on the back (the most challenging bit to line up as cushioned material needs to slide onto cushioned material and it is hard to see the slides between the material. Partner clicked the seat and back together and it was ready to use. Literally a 5 min set up! And it looks so nice! It also reclines back really far if preferable although we only need it for a slight recline. The full recline, I imagine, may come in handy if we need to spend longer in the nursery sometimes though.

- how high is the back measured from the seat please? Trying to work out if this would support my head whilst reclining.The height from the seat to the top of the back rest is 660cm (26 inches).
- Can anyone describe the pumice colour please? Is it a type of beige?More of a pale Taupe, not so yellow as beige. The colour will go with anything.
- Where are the chairs delivered from please, I have had trouble getting stuff delivered from abroad during the current crisis so want to check firstI am not sure but the chair was delivered within a few days.
- Can you securely partially recline this? Will it stick securely in a parially reclined position?Physical manual operation, the chair stays in the position until physically returned to its alternative position. No lever operation.
