The Postana is one of the latest recliners in our Premier collection offering unsurpassed comfort. It is upholstered with super soft Jumbo Cord with contrasting faux leather sides. It is reclined using a Latch Recliner Mechanism and combined with foam arms and pillow back support enables you to really sink into the recliner for hours. The recliner gives comfort and support where it's needed the most with its soft padding, excellent lumbar support and full chaise seating.
Latch Mechanism Functionality
To operate the latch mechanism place your hand on the latch located on the side of the chair and pull to release the footrest. To return to the upright position, gently push the footrest down with your legs to lock it back into place; at the same time the back of the recliner to return to it's original position.

Ordered on a Sunday, was scheduled to be delivered the following Friday. It actually came on the Tuesday, a few days early, which was a lovely suprise!The build quality is great and has a lovely chunky feel. The cushioning is firm but also allows a you to sink into it which can make it very sleep inducing after a while lol. Honestly can't recommend this chair enough. For the price, it's stunning and feels much more expensive! Simple as that!

Not for anyone lacking agility and leg strengthI would definitely NOT purchase this for anyone who is not secure on their feet. The recliner takes some effort to click back into place, requiring a very firm pressure using the calf muscles. When the recliner is out the chair can be quite unstable and has often tilted to the side or forward, requiring me to elegantly drop a leg quickly either side to prevent me from falling.Saying all of that I personally am very pleased with it. I am 48 and pretty flexible so these issues aren't a problem. It is modern and fits in perfectly with my sofas. It is very comfy, and I can't lie, I definitely find myself nodding off more listening to the rain on a wet Sunday.So if you are strong and agile but after a recliner it's great. If you are thinking of it for someone who is not steady on their feet and lacks a rugby players leg strength I would avoid, seriously not suitable.PS. The delivery was 'interesting'. Turned up days early, thankfully I was on annual leave so was in. Also the delivery driver moaned the whole time that it was heavy and he needed help, no trolley or similar. I said give me a minute and I'll get my shoes. He didn't wait and proceeded to 'roll' the large box over and over until he got it to the house. I was then left to carry it to the front room. (wasn't actually that heavy, he made a big deal out of nothing if you ask me) but again, not what you would expect and not everyone is going to be able to do that.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 June 2019Very comfortableI bought 2 for my parents and cant fault them, they were delivered on time and as my parents are both in theyre 80's and i was in work the driver carried them in and assembled them both. Parents are both very happy with the chairs and said they are very comfortable, i cant comment on this because i havent been given a chance to try them out... lol... they look very sturdy and well padded and the recliner is very easy to use.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 December 2018Comfortable chairsThe chairs were used in conservatory and were really comfortable with the reclining latch system working well. there were 2 minor problems, one was a distinctive not very nice smell which lasted for a few weeks but is now ok and the other is pushing the leg lift back down in position proved difficult with legs alone and had to use hands as well to clip back in normal seating mode.

Can't fault the supplyer, I did have an issue with the delivery as it said they contact me to arrange a delivery day but it was dispatched the next day and arrived the 2nd day which can be ideal for some but I was at work and had to arrange a family member to go round my house. But they were very helpful and did everything they could to fix this. Will definitely recommend this to my family and friends and may even buy another one for the house!

It comes in a fairly large package but is easy to assemble. The only thing that was slightly worrying was the guy who delivered it and my son had a little difficulty getting it through the front door!

Not very well made as you can see from pictures this chair is just over a year old, it wobbles, it creaks, it's got signs of wear and tear. The recliner doesn't ease up it goes up a bit fast, a bit awkward to put it down and click. Upside it's easy to clean. I'm 50/50 on whether I would recommend this, on hand easy to put together and mildly comfortable. Downside you will be lucky if it lasts unless u dont sit in it alot

I contacted the supplier and the reply that I got was that it's one year warranty has expired. I would have thought that a product like this armchair should be usable for more that a year. I will be contacting Trading Standards which is something I should not have to do.

- Need to get this into a loft room with a spiral staircase. Will I be able to before assembly?I only have 60cm available door opening to get this chair into the room I want it in will I be able to turn this chair in some way to Acheve that?
- Is the chair delivered as seen ie no assembling needed? Also I live in a first floor apartment lift available is that a problem for delivery?It was delivered in two main sections in one large box approximately 40in square. It required some basic assembly, the back rest has to be attached to the seat and arms. I hope that answers your question.
- Do the back and leg operate separately so the back remains upright whilst the leg rest is up for watching TV?yes
- hi the pictures show it fully reclined but when i release the leaver only the foot part comes up anyone else have this thanksI found that you are supposed to put some backward force,with forearms and elbows on the chair arms,tuck your elbows as far as you can,then push your sholders backwards as far as required to be comfortable or right back untill you are flat.You will find that when you sit upright the back will follow.
