- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 December 2022Cleans a room of particulate matterI bought this because my living room has a very old wood burner which kicks out sometimes dangerous amounts of PM2.5 and PM10. The air purifier has brought these down to 1 or 2 micro g/m3. It is a bit noisy in a quiet room but you cannot hear it if the TV or audio are on. It would be better if the automatic mode could go slower still when there are low pollutants.

Now I just run it overnight on sleep mode, which I find very quiet and pleasant. It definitely reduces dust (a bit), and makes me feel better having the windows over the High Street open during the day, knowing we can filter at night.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 May 2022Good, but not quiet enough for sleepI really wished this air purifier would be the answer to my dust allergy...but sadly, as a light sleeper, it couldn't stay. The slight swoosh of air movement on night mode wasn't too bad, but the intermittent rattling of the fan wasn't something I could sleep through, so it had to go! I guess I might've been unlucky and got an faulty rattling one, but even so, you'd expect a quality fan would be near silent on a slow speed. I would still recommend for daytime use as its a nicely designed thing, but not if you need it to be super quiet at night.I ended up with a Philips 2000i which is much chunkier, more pricey and not as pretty...but its on another level in terms of how fast it cleans a room and is silent on night mode. Happy days (and nights!)

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 May 2021No Dust (almost)I don't write reviews but I bought this, sceptically, to see if it could help with the bizarre amount of dust that sits everywhere in the main bedroom in my new house. I've never had this issue before and it is only in this one room. I wasn't interested in 'cleaning' the air in the room, but just dealing with the dust problem. I have had it permanently on low/auto for one week: it is almost silent and there is no dust! It is amazing. The sideboard top, which within 24 hrs of cleaning, is usually laden with a mat of dust, is, after one week since cleaning and one week of the BlueAir 3210 being on, perfectly dust free as are the blinds. This is a fantastic piece of kit and the best purchase I've made in a long while.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 September 2021Questionable about how well it worksThe design is good, it is light and fairly small. The performance is questionable and I had to return it.There is an automatic sensor but this didn't seem to make any difference. I lit a match next to it and it did pick it up and increased the fan speed for a few seconds, but then turned back down again. That is the only time I notice it detect anything. I can't say I noticed a change in air quality and it didn't really help with that feeling in the morning. I just don't think it is very powerful at all. Night mode is extremely quiet, but of course that is because the fan speed is turned down very low and as such doesn't do much. Auto mode has a slight noise to it, a but high pitched, which is noticeable at night. The maximum speed is a lot louder and you can't leave it on while you are sleeping. From what I understand, the throughput of this device is measured based on the full speed setting, so it is a bit misleading in my view if you are not going to be able to use that at night. The overall performance seemed questionable to me so I had to return it.

Shame they can't get more power in this size though as would be good to have in lounge and technical reviews suggest the active carbon isn't quite enough over the longer term compared with their squarer 205/405 models. Kept the sinus/ allergy issue at bay though.
