Seems to operate independently of the remote, trying to configure it from the app is even worse. Just trying to set up the fan oscillation is completely confusing. It definitely works, but pressing the oscillate button on the remote doesn't make it happen, setting a timer in the app doesn't make it happen. Baffling.Compared the other models I've seen, the data available on air quality is very limited. Although I'm not going to be keeping it to make a more thorough assessment, I get the sense that it is less effective than other models at purifying the air in the first place.Trying to connect the app is a pain as well. Set up is fairly simple, but when attempting to reconnect it often gets stuck in a loop and crashes. Whilst the app provides some very basic data, is again limited compared to other models.All in all, disappointing. Will be returning and replacing with the model I have seen working so well

It came with an EU>UK power adapter. When used for heating the Adapter melted into the wall socket on the live power terminal .. this resulted in a pin being live in the wall socket supply. The Adapter is unsafe not necessarily the Dyson itself.

The whole “magic” is that the air flow seems to happen without a fan. But the completely conventional fan is simply hidden in the base, with the top part changing the direction of flow. There are much better, more powerful, and quieter fans available at a fraction of the price. DON’T BE FOOLED BY THE VEBLEN PRICING.
