- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 July 2021Not worth the moneySo I bought this with the expectation that it would do a better job of air purification than my Philips 800 series purifier, it doesn't. Although this gives you more info in terms of a read out of the air quality it was way slower in cleaning the air. The fan at max settings isn't anywhere near powerful enough and as there is no cooling element it just blows warm air around the room. Not tried the heating element as it's the middle of summer.Used this in the bedroom at night and a good feature is being able to turn the lights off on the front but it's a poor implementation as any changes you make to the fan settings put the lights on with a beep which in the dark leaves you with light rings when you close your eyes again, poor design to not be able to keep it in night mode even when adjusting settings. You can of course turn the light off but this requires a three second push of a button which then gives you another beep when it turns the light off.I paid £280 via Amazon treasure truck and don't think it's value.Edit: Decided to return it after a few more days of having it, the fan is pathetically weak.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 July 2021Awesome filtered fan, currently playing liveLIVERemaining Time -0:00 Playback Rate1xChaptersChaptersDescriptionsdescriptions off, selectedCaptionscaptions off, selectedAudio TrackFullscreenThis is a modal window. The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported. This is a very nice fan, with the filter it does seem to blow slightly cooler air, which is a god send in this heat. The oscillating mode is silent and smooth. In the video I have it set to sleep mode (no lights or display on) as the light around the fan gets distracting. Its a perfect height we we take it into the bedroom for the evening.Due to the heat wave I haven't tried the heater, will update later on that.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 July 2021Cooling not very good, remote range is lowIt seems like they've invested very heavily into the purifying element of this product, I'm not able to speak to the effectiveness of it as it says that the air in my room isn't very dirty as is (008 on the display). The actual air blown from the fan is cooler than the air but even at the highest speed it's quite minimal, even for my small room, the temperature did not budge whatsoever. I can't really expect much cooling from this as the surface area of the fan is quite small. It's annoying that the LED indicator for the speed, osscilation, timer and heater are on the top of the fan, you'd only see it if you were close to it and above it (doesn't help at all if you're using it as a desk fan, which you'd want if you wanted the fan to be at a decent height). The most frustrating defect is that the remote control doesn't use infrared, instead it seems to use radiowaves, and hence it seems to either experience interference from its surroundings, or the distance for the remote is quite short. I'm not able to use the remote from beyond 50cm away from the fan, so if I'm laying in bed I won't be able to turn the fan on without getting up (which is a fair expectation from a £400 fan). The remote control itself fits onto the fan itself, but it does so on the back of it which is very inconveient if the fan is against the wall. The remote control also doesn't have any information on it to compensate for the LEDs being on the top of the fan. If you were using the remote control it'd mean that you're far from the fan, and you wouldn't know what the settings are by just using the remote since the LCD display only shows temperature and air quality. The timer for the fan only goes from 1 to 7 hours in 1 hour intervals, there's also no way to tell how long is left of the timer on a minute granular level, it may be possible to tell how long it is to the closest hour from the LEDs on the top.In summary, the LCD display is quite wasted and shows very minimal information, the settings for the fan are displayed in an inconvenient place, the cooling functionality is not good, and the range for the remote is very small (rending the remote useless even).
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 July 2021Too many little flaws that add up.This was brought for the bedroom for the fan and for the conservatory during winter as it has a heating function however the fan is utterly useless as it the remote. I have to agree with previous reviews; the controls are difficult to use in the dark, you have to be standing next to the unit to use the remote and a cheap fan will do a better job of cooling the room. I am returning the item as bought a cheaper tower fan and will buy a heater closer to winter. Not worth the money!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 25 July 2021Good product, no noiseGood product, bit expensive though. Note that it can blow hot air not cold. Cold air is just like blowing fan, they never claimed cold air anyway.Aswell this definitely made things better with pet allergy, i have a dog with long coat, double coat.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 August 2021Absolutely uselessCooling function is absolutely uselessIt’s more like heater than a cooler.Pretty looking device but not effective at all.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 25 July 2021Good so farSeems well made, does what I want in terms of cleaning the airNo better than a medium sized fan for cooling, but that's not why I bought it
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 August 2021Great productGood product, great oscillation, 3 speed fan and heater modes which is great to keep in the living room all year round. Easy to control with the remote. Easy to read air purifier levels and helps remove odours when cooking.
