Nice purifier a little bigger than I thought. Only a bit noisy on highest setting
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 August 2020
Mine has just arrived, looks good and plenty clean air since switching it on only 2 hours ago. It’s really lightweight not too bulky and pretty nice with the blue light lit up. There is a bit of noise when it’s running on the High setting You would probably want to turn it to the 1st setting if your using it in your bedroom before you go to sleep. I will update once I’ve had this purifier a bit longerOkay update it’s not bad at clearing the air. But uses an awful lot of electricity It used 97 pence running it for 4 hours so beware I’m only going to use it when needed and not as I intended to do. I wanted it running 24 hoursUpdate.... so I’ve been using this for 2 month solid. I was saying about the cost of electricity it uses so I find by using the lower setting if you feel you don’t need the high setting on if your breathing is ok (asthma) you not burning so much electricity and leave the blue light off. The sleep mode is a great feature on the unit, a touch of the button it’s off for when you need it back on in a hurry. It’s very light weight so you can carry it around to place it easily in other positions, I find by placing it on the floor it seems to work better surround the room with lovely cool fresh air, for those of us who can’t have windows open for different reasons mines is my home is very cold due to it being built in heavy stone. My breathing has improved greatly in the last 2 month I don’t wake up in the morning feeling heavy and sluggish due to COPD it helps the coughing. I have a big humidifier too, but find this hepa works better for breathing than the dehumidifier did.. A few folk say that it’s very noisy you get so used to the whirring after a while and doesn’t bother you, unless you are a very light sleeper and any noise whatsoever in your room keeps you awake, so use the lower setting there’s no noise at all on this setting. The filters look so easy to change, and needs changed around 3-6 month depending on how often your using it. The filters can be bought on Amazon for around £20 it can be expensive but for the clean air around you every night I’d say it’s definitely worth it. There is a 2 year warranty with the machine which is really good. All in all a fab little purifier and well worth the £44 you pay for it. I would definitely buy this one again, once my own one kicks the bucket But hopefully I get a few year out of it before it dies on me. I wouldn’t hesitate on buying this I definitely recommend it. ?

Good quality air purifier, ideal for a bedroom or home office
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 March 2021
Got this for a teen’s bedroom. Really has made a difference with their allergies and asthma. Small and unobtrusive but really does a good job. Noticeably better all around. It has a timer light that just counts hours it’s been on to tell you when it thinks you should change the filter, the instructions say it goes off after 1500 hours (that’s 62 days if you were to run it nonstop). It likely does depend on how dusty the air is where you are using it. As with most HEPA filters the instructions say you can also hoover the filter monthly to extend the life.Once you change the filter you can reset the filter timer by holding the power button for 5 seconds. All around very pleased with this purchase. If you are looking for a HEPA air purifier for a bedroom this is a very good product that works well and is easy to change the filter in. Have recommended to several friends too.

    Awesome product

I love my air filter, my hay-fever was so bad in the mornings I could hardly breath and my eyes itchy and streaming. Put this on over night and my symptoms were gone. Completely gone. I purchased a second one for my mum who has severe asthma. The day I took it over she could hardly stand. The following day she was a totally different person. Highly highly recommend.

    Bad quality control
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 March 2021
New out of the box I followed the instructions and turned it on, the fan kept slowing down and speeding up intermittently, with a whining noise. It sounded like the fan was being obstructed or coming loose. I fixed the issue by pushing the fan back into place. The unit now working is quite good on turbo with good suction.

Excellent effective air purifier. I've owned another model of Puremate up until this purchase and by far find them superior (I've tried others and still rate this higher)Lightweight and good size for an average size room. Effective at cleaning the air of odours quickly

Great product with a great effect!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 January 2021
Great purchase! My room is quite small so dust can be quite an issue. Also, I tend to get allergy issues when it comes to dust and pollen. After using this for a few days I have noticed quite the improvement and it’s easier to breathe. The sleep mode allows you to have the purifier on in the night subtly. For the price you can’t go wrong and I would highly recommend one.

Stylish quiet & it works really well
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 May 2021
Have been using this for a few weeks now and can definitely say it has improved the air quality in our bedroom. Before using we could feel how clogged up the air was resulting in us waking up with dry throats this improved for us after the first night using this. Sleep mode is very quiet I barely even notice it’s on. It’s a nice looking unit too so fits in with the room nicely. Would recommend.

    Does the job!

As far as purifiers go, this is a cost-effective product which does 'what it says on the tin'. It's compact size means it's not the most powerful purifier on the market, but it certainly packs a punch. Would highly recommend for a bedroom size space.
