- How can I clean the chrome behind the bars?I used to use one of those foam paint 'brushes': the ones with the tapered end on a plastic or wooden handle, usually the foam is black. They probably have a proper name but I don't know what it is ?. (not the 'Paint Pad' type, I don't think they will do the job! )
- do the heating and log effect work independentlyYes, they are independent - you can have just the log effect lit on it's own, or the log effect and heating together. Please note, the log effect does not have a switch, it comes on as soon as it is plugged in.
- Does the slate hearth pad from dimplex go with this productThe slate hearth pad can be purchased as an addition to the Electric heater if you consider it essential or an attractive feature to where you want to mount the heater it is not included with with it its your choice.
- How can i slow down the flicker please..its awful...too fast. angelaThe speed of the flicker rotor is adjusted by twisting the metal fins. To slow the rotor you twist the fins to close up the gaps. To speed it up you make bigger gaps. Whenever the bulb has to be changed, the slight natural variation between bulbs will sometimes alter the speed of the rotor.
