- Can you lay slate on carpet for electric fireMy slate hearth is on laminate but I think it would be fine on carpet
- Can you get this in other coloursThe Dimplex Gosford Stove only comes in black. This is the traditional colour for Stoves. Other manufacturers produce stoves in white but they won't be Optimyst fires.
- Product features say "electric heater only", but is it safe under a calor gas heater?I personally wouldn't use with gas. However it is plastic and if the heat goes up rather than down I can't see a problem. Contact dimplex direct
