- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 December 2020Attractive firePrompt service however the delivery driver was leaving it on the path and just taking a photo as proof until a neighbour stopped him and took it in.the actual fan heater isnt as wide as my previous fire and it doesn't feel like it heats the room as effectively but as a boost to heating its fine and it is a cold December day! It's an attractive fire

Love it29th October 2021 update. It has started to malfunction. Sometimes it stops working and the digital display flashes and makes a beeping sound and don't turn on. It's happened twice now. I was asked to replace the batteries in the remote but continues to stop working. Only remedy is to turn it off and wait 10 minutes then it works normally. But for how long. I'm sure one does not have to keep doing this on an item only purchased last month.

Liked the look of this fire straight away, wasn’t keen on the coal effect so for an extra £10 brought some heat resistant pebbles. The fire itself was so easy to install, that I did it on my own and I’m no diy person. Love you have the flame without the heat, makes the room nice and cozy. The in built timer is a bonus! Brilliant to have that you can set it on for anytime of day, this will be a god send when the cold night start to creep in as I have no central heating, i can now come home to a warm room. The timer does take a bit of working out too start with.The heating itself, works by room temperature for example if you want your room to stay at 24° if the fire is left on auto as soon as your room temperature drops too 22° the fire heater will turn on and goes off as soon as it hits 24°. Saving on electricity. If you need it warmer just turn the temperature up, too warm turn it down . Remote control is very easy to use. The only noise from it is the heater itself when on and if you just have the flame effect, but to be honest after awhile you take no notice of it. Not been able to check the temperature out fully, but when I have had it on the room heats up quickly and this in an open planned small one bedroom house.

However, I think the fire guard being a very lightweight black plastic that has been sprayed brass coloured lets it down as I'm not so sure it will look as nice after a few cleanings.That said, the remote functionality is excellent. The flame effect great, however, it is not completely silent. There is a tiny rattle from the moving part but then a fire would not be silent either!

The fire effect is so real if you didn't know it was fake you may not realise! Gives out plenty of heat when needed and love that you can set the temperate so it cuts out when the room is your chosen temp. Would definitely recommend this fire it's fabulous

I chose this one due to the separate flame-only effect which provides a nice ambience in the evening. Also, the fit was good for my needs. Easy installation. I need to organise the cabling on the right but there is more than enough length. I have found it to be quiet enough in light use. At the price I paid, I consider this to be a bargain. (Caveat - only been using it for 2 weeks - but so far, so good!)
