FLAMEKO WILTON 36" 92CM WALL MOUNTED & RECESSED GLASS

Absolutely, the FlameKo Wilton is designed with media walls in mind, offering seamless integration for a sleek, modern look. You can definitely recess it into your wall, creating that clean, flush finish you're probably dreaming of. What's more, it's perfectly safe to mount your TV directly above it. Unlike traditional fireplaces, electric fires don't produce a hot updraft that could damage electronics. The heat vents from the front, not the top, so you won't have to worry about your TV overheating. This versatility is a huge benefit, allowing you to create a stunning focal point without compromising safety or design.

You'll be genuinely impressed by the Wilton's flame effects; they're incredibly realistic, thanks to 100% LED lighting. It's not just a static image; you get dynamic, mesmerising visuals that truly mimic a real fire. The best part? You're not stuck with one look. You can choose from an impressive nine distinct flame colours to perfectly match your mood or décor. Imagine a vibrant blue for a cool, contemporary vibe, or a classic orange for those cosy, traditional evenings. Switching between them is a breeze – simply use the included remote control from the comfort of your sofa. It's all about creating the perfect ambience, effortlessly.

The FlameKo Wilton packs a decent punch when it comes to heating, offering two powerful yet quiet heat settings. You've got a 900W option for a gentle, ambient warmth, perfect for taking the chill off, and a more robust 1800W setting for rapid heating when you need to warm things up quickly. This fireplace can comfortably raise a room's temperature from a cool 16℃ to a snug 28℃. It's ideal for a standard-sized living room, bedroom, or office, providing targeted warmth without needing to fire up your entire central heating system. Plus, the quiet operation means you'll barely notice it's on, letting you relax in peace.

That's a really important question, and you'll be pleased to know that safety is a top priority with the FlameKo Wilton. It features a 'cool-touch' front glass screen, meaning it remains safe to touch even when the heater is running at full power. This is a huge relief for homes with curious children or playful pets, as you won't have to worry about accidental burns. On top of that, it includes built-in overheating protection, which automatically switches the unit off if it detects any issues. You can truly enjoy the warmth and ambience with complete peace of mind, knowing everyone in your home is safe.

Yes, you're in luck! The FlameKo Wilton comes complete with both realistic log and shimmering crystal fuel bed options right in the box. This gives you fantastic flexibility to customise the look of your fireplace to perfectly suit your personal style or even change it up with the seasons. If you're after a classic, rustic charm, the log effect is perfect. For a more contemporary, minimalist, or even glamorous feel, the crystal fuel bed truly shines. Swapping them out is surprisingly straightforward; you typically just remove the front glass panel, lift out one fuel bed, and place the other in. It's a quick way to refresh your room's aesthetic.

Controlling your FlameKo Wilton couldn't be simpler or more convenient. It comes with a handy remote control that puts all the power right in your hands, so you don't even have to leave your comfy seat. From the remote, you can effortlessly adjust the nine different flame colours to set the perfect mood, switch between the two heat settings (900W or 1800W) to get your room just right, and even set the timer. There's also a discreet digital display on the fireplace itself that gives you clear feedback on your settings. It's designed for maximum ease of use, letting you truly relax and immerse yourself in the experience.

Absolutely, that's one of the fantastic benefits of an electric fireplace like the FlameKo Wilton! You can enjoy the stunning visual display of the flames completely independently of the heater. This means you can create a beautiful, cosy ambience in your living space year-round, even on warmer days when you don't need any extra heat. Picture those summer evenings when you want a bit of atmosphere without feeling hot. It's perfect for adding that mesmerising focal point and a touch of charm to your room, regardless of the temperature outside. It truly offers the best of both worlds.

You'll be pleased to hear that the FlameKo Wilton requires very little maintenance, which is a huge advantage over traditional wood-burning or gas fires. Forget about cleaning out ash, sweeping chimneys, or arranging for gas safety checks. For this electric fireplace, maintenance is generally limited to simply dusting the exterior and occasionally wiping down the cool-touch glass screen with a soft, damp cloth to keep it sparkling clean. It's also a good idea to periodically check that the air vents aren't blocked to ensure efficient operation. It's truly a 'set it and forget it' appliance, designed for fuss-free enjoyment.

The FlameKo Wilton is designed with energy efficiency in mind, proudly holding Eco Design 2018 Compliant certification. This means it meets rigorous standards for energy performance. When you're just enjoying the beautiful LED flame effect without the heater, the running costs are incredibly low – typically just pennies an hour, as LED lighting uses very little power. If you're using the heater, the costs will naturally be higher, similar to running any other electric heater. However, because it offers targeted heating for a specific room, it can often be more efficient than turning up your entire central heating system if you only need warmth in one area. It's a smart choice for balancing comfort and running costs.

The FlameKo Wilton measures a generous 92cm (36 inches) in width. For a wall-mounted installation, you'll need enough clear wall space to accommodate these dimensions. If you're planning a recessed installation for that sleek, flush look, you'll need to prepare a precise cut-out in your wall. While the overall face dimensions are 92cm, the exact recess dimensions (width, height, and depth) are critical for a perfect fit and are typically slightly smaller than the faceplate. We always recommend consulting the detailed installation manual that comes with the fireplace for the precise cut-out measurements to ensure a snug and safe recessed fit.
