- Does it have any crackling sound effects?We use a Amazon echo dot and ask Alexa to play ambient fireplace sounds, this gives a nice crackly sound effect that is quite realistic, just tuck the echo dot to the rear of the fire but not in front of the fan unit, also ask Alexa to loop the sound effect to get it play continuously.
- does it have a thermostat ?Yes. When you have the room at the required temperature, you move the temperature dial back until you hear an audible click. The heater will then come on and off to maintain the temperature at the setting you specified.
- can I use the water out of my tumble dryerHello, We would advise that you use filtered tap water only in your Opti-Myst fire, as this is the best thing for it. You can purchase water filter jugs, those that are kept in the fridge for drinking water, from Amazon or almost any supermarket. Thank you for using Q&A
