STURDY STEEL – The main body of the outdoor parasol is manufactured from a heavy-duty steel. The pole has dimensions of 38x0.8mm while the ribs have dimensions of 12x18x0.5mm. This steel is super tough and built to withstand exposure to the elements without falling foul to rust or corrosion.

- i s the /pole a single unit or two piecesThe pole and parasol come separated and the pole just clips into the parasol. The pole is quite tough to slide in though so had to use a bit of grease.
- Is the parasol,in 2 halvesYes it is in two half’s ,we are very happy with it
- How does it tilt? Crank, button, or other means?The tilt works via a button (on either side of the pole); the crank is used to raise and lower the parasol canopy.
- Does the umbrella fabric have specific UV scientific graded protection from harmful sun’s rays?As you know,the sun's rays are harmful,no fabric manufactured can give you 100 percent protection that is incorporated into parasol manufacture.So I would say "no".
