    Fades quickly
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 June 2018
Bought April 2018 via Amazon and it has faded quite badly. Multiple stripes of faded green don't make for an attractive look. For the money it is disappointing and probably the only item I have ever given a bad review to in over 10 years.I will ask the manufacturer for a comment, but for now, a poor product that looks years old as opposed to a few months.Update 12/7/2018I have received no response from the vendor which is simply very poor customer service. There are a growing number of 1 star reviews on here from those who have suffered similar issues with fading and the mechanism failing.Either those giving 5 star ratings received a different product or I and my fellow 1 star raters were just unlucky both in the product we received and the lack of response from the vendor who, incidentally, seem to ignore the rules Amazon say the apply for vendors to respond to customer complaintsThankfully Amazon step up to the plate on things like this.for which I am grateful

Good value for a wind and tilt parasol
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 August 2016
Just the ticket. I wanted something that would tilt as well as wind up and down. All works well, and easy to assemble with just one half of the pole slotting into the other. It also fits neatly into existing concrete base I have had for 15 years now. Works well in quite strong Cambridge winds too.

    Great umbrella
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 August 2018
Great item, easy to wind up and down, although the sticker which gives directions as to which way to wind is totally incorrect. Its a bit too tall and ungainly for me to slot in the table by myself as I'm very short, but its staying in until the autumn. Only slight downside is that there is nothing to fasten it all together when you've closed it, like you get on a normal umbrella. I used an elastic tie that you use for car luggage which works well. No cover either, I've kept the box and bag that it came in to store it away over winter. But its made a huge difference to our comfort onn our deck, where the sun makes it unbearably hot. This umbrella cuts out that harshness perfectly,

Great outdoor parasol with ability to tilt giving extra protection ...
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 4 June 2015
Great outdoor parasol with ability to tilt giving extra protection against the sun. It is sturdy and durable, easy to use and although it has only been up for a month or so has already proved to be a great buy. I would certainly recommend it.

Need muscles to wind up and down
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 August 2018
The headline says it all really, quality is reasonably good, but the winding mechanism is very stiff, I mean STIFF, a child would not be able to raise or lower the parasol, but so far, so good. It`s coming to the end of Summer and won`t be used again until next year

    Poor Parasol
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 April 2020
I purchased this parasol August 2018, and it has faded badly, got about 5 different shades of green/greyish colours, I’m going to have to buy another brand because it looks embarrassing in my beautiful garden, very disappointed for the price I paid

    Not well made
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 August 2018
I was unable to fully raise the Parasol and on lowering it , the Stuts holding mthe Parasol fell out. So every time you wanted to open it you had to reasert the struts into the Parasol.

Good but fabric could be more substantial.
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 October 2019
Light for its size and useful to have the tilt feature. Canopy fabric thinner than I wanted but does the job. Initial difficulty with crank mechanism overcome with prompt help from supplier. Good price and quick delivery included.

Customer questions and answers

  • Mine rotates in the wind when tilted. Has anyone found a way to stop this?
So does mine, it is very annoying. No I have not found a wau of stopping it.
  • can i use this umbrella without it going through middle of table ...i want a stand alone one .
Hi. Yes, so long as you use a parasol stand. The umbrella itself is sturdy & well worth the price. Hope we get the summer so we can use them. Enjoy it
  • is it waterproof
yes,but only for light showers. We have dried it off and put it away in its box as it fell down one night during a gale.
  • How heavy is it as it is for my mother a lady in her 70s
No heavier than any other garden umbrella I would think. I'm in my 70s and had no problems setting it up. It will stay put (closed) till the winter, so no real problem.
