  Excellent customer service ?

  Just got the umbrella yesterday and the first thing I noticed was the way the box was wrapped like a refurbished item.Inside it was the umbrella in the bag. When I opened the bag I noticed a reddish dust with a strange smell. Trying to locate the source I noticed it was coming from inside the extension pole. It stained the bag and a little bit the umbrella and the plastic clipper.Anyway is a little bit disappointing to have either an used item (if turns out as sand) or a faulty one (if is rusted) after purchasing it as new.LE. Excellent customer service. I've been contacted immediately by Stephanie who kindly offered an replacement free of charge or money back.I've chosen the replacement as the quality of the product is good and maybe I was just unlucky to get a damaged one.

  Decent nice parasol - height adjustable

  Exactly what I wanted. Substantial and good quality for the price but also light and easy to pack away in a cupboard when not using. You can adjust the height (which seems not possible on a lot of other parasols) and it can be tilted. The only thing that looks a little flimsy is the plastic screw-in handle to secure it at the right height, but this has been fine so far.

  Spoke end missing.

  Unfortunately I have only just opened this umbrella to find that one of the end spokes has not got its plastic end on. Reminder to everyone to always check your purchase on delivery.

  It is what it is but just a vital bit more

  Inexpensive parasol for small, 'bistro' sized tables with a small diameter centre hole. The quality is good, sturdy centre pole and no nonsense mechanism, the colour is vibrant and looks like it will last. It looks well-made and the handy carry bag, with strap, makes this easy to add to your beach gear - the pointed shaft is easily driven into sand. It is, of course, light, so wind will carry it off but this applies to any parasol. That vital bit more - looks, quality and portability.

  Quality parasol - but needs an equally good base to make the most of it.

  This was bought for my elderly mother, who likes to spend time sitting in the garden when the weather is nice, but who needs to be careful about getting too much exposure to the sun.This parasol is very easy to assemble and the quality : price ratio is very good. It is also very versatile - the height is adjustable, but impressively, you can also position the top section at an angle, so that you create the ideal level of shade required.The one slight downside is that you do need to make sure you have a decent base too - though this is not really the fault of the parasol. When the top of the parasol is in the angled position it does make it more susceptible to catching any breeze and can tip over. I originally bought a Strata GN351 Round 7 Litre Parasol Base (33cm diameter), which is ok, but not really big enough and / or heavy enough to support this parasol adequately in all circumstances, so I will be getting something more substantial in due course.

  Brought as a replacement for a wind damaged parasol, for the price it is very good. The quality of materials are excellent at this price range and great colour as well. Lightweight so you can take it to the beach or on picnics. I use it on a small round table on the decking. It has its own colour matching carry cover too. No problems here.

  Fab parasol for beach

  Great parasol for beach. Good quality, great size and quite sturdy. Bought with a holder that you twist to go into the sand (also from Amazon) and used every time we went to the beach.

  Perfect for purpose and price

  Bought as 2nd umbrella as this has a rotary angle joint and it's doing its job very well. Jolly colour, strong material, excellent price. Well pleased with purchase that matched the description. Arrived on time. Roll on summer.

  This 2 meter wide green parasol doesn't wobble when used with a plastic base. ?

  I was fortunate enough to purchase this at less than half price as it was '' as new. '' This 2 meter wide parasol is ideal for those people that have a small garden. The parasol comes in 2 pieces with an instruction booklet on how to assemble and tilt it. I use a plastic base filled with small stones which provides good stability. The upper pole needs to be inserted into the lower pole to a depth of at least 10cm and then it can be secured in place. Unfortunately the parasol doesn't come with a cover but I discovered that a rotary airer cover has ample room to store it when it's not in use.A lovely colour lightweight parasol !

  A nice brolly

  A well made brolly with a very smooth, lightweight action. Purchased for my mother who suffers with arthritis and weak wrists - she has no problem erecting and collapsing this one. My only criticism would be that the colour (in this case, green) was much more vivid than it appears in the photos... but that's really not a major issue!
