CRANK SYSTEM - Crank winding mechanism to open and close your parasol quickly and conveniently. Comes fitted with an air vent which promotes the flow of air to prevent wind building up.
SPECIFICATION - Steel stand pole:48 *0.9*1500mm | Steel bend pole:42*0.9*1700mm | 6Steel ribs:12*18*0.45mm. The parasol will need to be secured using weighted parasol base (NOT INCLUDED).

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 30 July 2019Don’t waste your moneyHaving had to wait three weeks for this item (original lost in the delivery system) I set about assembling this parasol. I had purchased base weights to keep the parasol in place. There were four, each filled with 13kg of water, as per instructions - quite a weight for me to handle. My physically strong son finished the job for me. Now to sit out under it - what a disaster. A breeze got under the parasol, and it took off like a sail, blowing over, bending the base stand and lifting the weights out of place. It is now awaiting my son to remove it because I can’t handle it. Such a waste of money for this and the weights I purchased. Very disappointed.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 4 July 2019If not bolted down you will need the additional base.Firstly it’s a great product, the picture is using the tilt it can also be used like a normal parasol.If you are using on a deck no problem as it can be bolted down. On a stone patio you will need the additional base, because of the size it will blow over in the wind.I purchased the cover and base as a package and would recommend this.

Only thing is moves with a slight wind - not a big issue and suppose when you have something suspended expect to have some movement. Base is great and easy to work out to have on a slant. Some metal washer looking discs were with the package but no where to put them and not on the items or instructions list so must have been a mistake ? Or I’ve not fixed it up right ! Working well and looks lovely.

Consider a cover thoThis is larger than I thought but well made and angles to face the sun and also hangs when adjusted with the sliding mechanism. The base is large and will need a separate purchase for weights but the plastic ones around £35 quid do the job but it’s a bit of a faff moving it. Crank system is nice and well made and when fully extended will sway in light wind. Would buy again and good value.

We have had to try and secure it to prevent it moving so much. It doesn't actually fall but it feels like it is going to hit you. Looks lovely but not as practical as I would have liked. Would rather have spent more and had one that didn't move so much. Wish I'd taken more notice of the reviews.

I contacted the seller regarding this issue and explained the issue & provided pictures of the damage, however they are unwilling to offer any replacement due to the warranty being expired by 2mths. Very poor customer service, not impressed with quality and would not recommend.Issue could have easily been resolved by replacing the base.World pandemic been going on for over 18months and this company will not replace a base for the warranty being lapsed by 8 weeks! Shocking customer service.

- Does the umbrella come with the standIt comes with a stand with metal feet. However you do definitely need weights to stop umbrella blowing over if it’s windy.
- Does the umbrella swivel?You can use the notches to lock it in place or raise it to swivel around then tighten.
- Hi does it come with any cover for the parasol?The one I purchased didn't come with cover
- Does this have uv protection?Provides good shade so there should be no uv issues.
