- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 December 2019very quiet- sshhbuying this on recommendation of the which report, in which it scored top with another unit at half the price, I took a gamble that the Philips name would be worth the extraFrom the reviews the other, cheaper unit with the same highest score was quite noisy, so much so that the top fan setting was unpleasant. This unit I'm pleased to say whispers quietly and appears to work extremely well. The added benefit of a humidifier I think is also worth paying the extra for so that the air is at optimum quality for health and comfort, plus it saves the winter dry skin.Must say I'm very happy with this, four stars well earned
