I found it effective for clearing the air and I felt better with my sinus issues and allergic rhinitis but it was so loud we struggled to sleep through it. So I tried to put the sleep timer on thinking it would quietly go off to allow me to sleep through the night but it has a loud beep when it switches off which woke me up. Not sure if this one does the same. I sent my silent night one back. This one maybe different. In comparison, I tried the more expensive blueair purifier. It has a quiet mark which does make it almost silent at night but it doesn’t seem that effective on the quiet setting. The 2nd setting is too loud to sleep through. Still haven’t found an option that’s workable. see less
