  Promising fitting let down by wiring disaster

  I didn't install this item. It assembled fairly well and looked good, but the wiring situation is ridiculous - each arm has two wires, so for both Live and Neutral you have to somehow squeeze four wires into one side of a terminal block and the mains in the other. You don't get a big enough terminal block (I had one lying around, resulting in some frankenstein-like arrangement of two wires in a terminal block and bridged with the thin piece of wire provided - see attached photo - two neutrals in each connector as you can't get all 4 in one, bridging wire and somehow the mains has to connect to this?!) and it's really shonky; I wasn't prepared to cobble this together, shove it in the ceiling, cross my fingers and put mains electricity through it!Also the instructions provided are extremely terse, especially when it comes to wiring so you're pretty much left to it! Is this safe?Shame as the fitting itself is quite understated and would no doubt look effective with some nice bulbs.

  Didn't read many reviews and as a result was surprised when the fitting came in a small box. I didn't realise the fitting needed to be assembled!The assembly of the fitting itself was easy enough, the legs just screw in. All the washers and nuts are supplied for securing to the base.The wiring is a bit fiddly - 2 wires per lamp but managed to get them all in to the supplied terminal block.Once assembled and fitted to the ceiling the fitting isn't too in your face, is a good size and looks dearer than price paid.I didn't purchase the bulbs that are recommended as found similar for less. I'd highly recommend getting the vintage style LED bulbs with the rose tint as they really suit the light fitting.Given that assembly is required and the wiring isn't the easiest I think the price is maybe a bit on the high side but none the less I'm thinking of purchasing a second fitting for the dining room.

  Beautiful fixture however was difficult to install

  The light fitting itself is absolutely beautiful. I’d recommend to get an electrician to fit in. We did it ourselves but it was really fiddly and took us around 1-2 hours. Each bulb has it own live and neutral wires so about 12 wires in total and you need to get fitted into the connector but it’s harder said than done. If you have patience great if like us and easily frustrated hire an electrician. Other than that the light was finished beautifully with 6 vintage edison bulbs. These were purchased on Amazon seperately and we got 6 for around £20. The fitting is plastic (whole fixture is plastic) and comes with a little assembly needed. The gold around the bulb(painted gold plastic) adds a more luxurious touch. It definitely looks far more expensive than it was once up. Having fitted one we could probably do it again in 5 mins but we just followed a YouTube tutorial to help us fit it which is probably why it took so long. Overall I’d say it’s a beautiful buy and would recommend to others.

  So impressed with this light , looks better when installed than the pictures. Very easy to assemble. Just great. I finished it off with the suggested bulbs which adds that final touch

  This is great and looks good.As in other reviews, i needed to use a bigger choc block to fit it as 3 terminals is not enough for light fitting on a ring main with earth connection.The only other comment is that the shape is actually a swastika when assembled. Oops.

  Poor wiring

  The terminal block supplied with this is nowhere near big enough to accept so many wires coming from each light fixture. The quality of the light isn't great. The first one I bought didn't work so had to get a second one which does work, but wiring it up took a long time and I had to buy a new larger terminal strip
