- Can the wires be shortened. I need the overall drom from the ceiling to be 55cm maximumYes they can be shortened. You just push the wires in, and can be lengthened again if required. I don't know how short it can go to. I'm sure you could do a lot of the shortening and tidy the cables up before connecting and hanging. see less

- Do you adjust the height of the rings before wiring into the ceiling or after?The strings are super long, so it’s best to roughly adjust them, take them up to the height u want, fit them and then adjust them further to get them perfect, as u also have to wrap the excess wire in the light fitting
