Its heavy and awkward, you need two people to put it up.Fitting is good and it's well made. Looks lovely and it's so bright! At first I thought it was too bright but I've got used to it a bit now. We also have freshly plastered walls and ceilings and everything is painted white which probably exacerbates the brightness.One Led is dead on arrival but after the struggle to put it up I'm not taking it down again for the sake of one LED. You don't notice in use.I would buy a similar light again and will probably get a two ring variant for the other room when we get to it.

It was a little fiddly to put up due to the weight of the light and it being installed at the top of the stairs. But it was worth it. Looks fantastic! That good I have just ordered another for the bottom of the stairs.

- Can the wires be shortened. I need the overall drom from the ceiling to be 55cm maximumYes they can be shortened. You just push the wires in, and can be lengthened again if required. I don't know how short it can go to. The only problem with making it very short is the cables all just gather in the decorative ring on the ceiling and they are quite long to start with, so it gets a bit fiddly getting them … see more Yes they can be shortened. I'm sure you could do a lot of the shortening and tidy the cables up before connecting and hanging. see less

- Do you adjust the height of the rings before wiring into the ceiling or after?The strings are super long, so it’s best to roughly adjust them, take them up to the height u want, fit them and then adjust them further to get them perfect, as u also have to wrap the excess wire in the light fitting
