I worked from corners using my fingers nail to peel enough to grip and then peel off around about pillars need to use small scissors not easy but worth it in the end remove before putting up on ceiling and use gloves provided to reduce finger marks when fitting

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 July 2020Stunning once it is upReally looks good once installed - which is the but! The first problem is that the screws to hold the light up are much shorter than the distance that they are recessed so you need one hand to hold the light in place, one to position the screw and one for the screwdriver. Unless you have a magnetic or gripper tip screwdriver I recommend using a longer screw to hold one side in place while you get the other one in then remove the long one to replace with the supplied item. The final problem is removing the 2 layers of protective film from the two areas that it is on. This is not helped by the fact that there is no starting point, i.e. no point where it is already lifted or extra tab to start from. Also the films are trapped by both the fold on the base plate and by the columns making it almost impossible to get it all. Gloves are provided to avoid finger prints but with them on there is no way to use a fingernail to start things off - they were good for removing the fingerprints and smudges afterwards :-).

So well packaged & the lights have a coat of plastic on them that can be removed once they are installed & it keeps them brand new until you switch them on. Installation was ok for a DIYer but you will need a magnetic screwdriver to attach to the bracket. I am delighted with them

Light is good but obviously don’t know till these walls get painted differently how good they’re, installation was a bit of a problem opened packaging and was afraid it was damaged with loads of rust spots on the seals and what looked like several cracks on the actual mirrored parts of light which turned out only to be the protective film, had a electrician come install and he had no problem except how small it is, but that comes to the value for money category now it’s up in my room it’s obviously not going to come down anytime soon as I’ve paid the electrician to install it but I found the light to look very small almost cheap wasn’t what I expected in size going off measurements 200x200cm is the size where I don’t believe I seen that when I looked at it at first I believe I seen it a bit bigger but pictures were very deceiving by looking bigger but overall I’m happy and got rid of my old cr*ppy light so thank you.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 September 2020Looks nice horrendous to fit.I bought 5 for the rooms upstairs. To start with you get some little cloth gloves. These gloves are the size of a junior. The item itself is covered with so much protective plastic wrap it took at least 15 mins to get it off and on a few of mine I had to undo the bolts that hold it all together to remove the remaining protective film. I cut my fingers on the sharp edges as they are like razors. To say how small they are it's a two man job to get the final 2 screws in. I was like quasimodo by the time I had done all 5. Look nice though an d they were not that expensive. My advice get a helper, remove all the sodding protective film first and dust it afterwards and watch the bloody edges.

This didn't give enough light to see what was on shelves or hangers. Only fit for use as a secondary light i.e. in placement of a wall light or if you just want ambient lighting. Description very misleading. Have just ordered a different light and will be returning this as soo as other light arrives. BEWARE - NOT BRIGHT AT ALL.

It was easy to install, the only downside was that the gloves supplied constantly snagged on the claws holding the item together, and the protective film was a little fiddly to remove. In all I am very satisfied with purchase, and time will tell how durable the leds are
