  Won’t buy another

  The light itself is bright enough. However , I would not recommend based on the design and ease of fitting. There is nowhere to locate the wires, and the wires are very small and stranded. Because the wire comes out of the side Of this unit if you have a pendant currently with the wire coming out dead centre of your room you’ll need to relocate this otherwise the new fitting will be off centre.Lastly, after all that hassle the fitting doesn’t sit flush with the ceiling and hangs down at one side and appears to be very loose. When removed it exposes the live connectors. Not a good design at all.

  Brilliant Piece of Work

  The fluorescent light in the kitchen needed a new tube and I damaged the end piece when I removed the old tube. Consequently, I needed a new light. Saw this on Amazon and was impressed by some of the reviews. It arrived late on Friday - too late to fix in darkness. Yesterday, I removed the old light and fitted this new light. It only took a few minutes to secure the fixing to the ceiling and then slotted the light unit in. Switched on, and hey presto, it worked.Very bright for a large kitchen and is ideal.I ordered the warm white but it has a yellowish ting and the ordinary white may have been better. I can certainly recommend this.

  Great VFM

  I need something approaching daylight to see properly, this unit produces it, and does so without any noise. Instant power on and a clean white light.Easy to install, the carrier and cabling harness can be fitted before offering the main unit up to it, it simply slides into place and works as intended.I thought it was all a bit flimsy, but just how robust and heavy do you need an overhead light to be?

  Great value excellent quality and performance

  Very pleased as it's made our overly dark kitchen bright feel refreshed and clean.Before we used to always be in our own light which made cooking or preparing food so hard to do. Now the light seems to bounce of all the walls allowing us to cook with confidence.Installation could not be easier and in fact a complet novice with basic skills and Google for, (Electric cable colours) could do it confidently.If your looking to give your kitchen the ultimate revitalisation this has got to be the product for you!

  LIghts up a room

  Fitting was straight forward and the light is not heavy - easily held by two screws.The light is very bright and as good as a summer's day. I chose the daylight colourIt is very good for reading but it is very bright and other softer lights would be needed to compliment this bright light in a bedroom.I am happy with the price.Aesthetically if works for me and for me it better than the traditional dangling shade and bulb.

  Good Product, but safety concerns!

  Very bright and good coverage it lights up every inch of my shed.Not too difficult to install, you mount a small plastic bracket with screws and then slide the main body on.However, electrical contact is made via two metal strips on the small bracket that contact two similar strips onthe main body. When the main lamp body is removed, which can easily be done, the two contacts on the 'live' bracket are visible and could be reached by a child with a screwdriver! To be fair this is also true of most old fashioned plug in lights, but it's something a buyer should be aware of. This product needs a redesign and there should be a method to lock the lamp in position to prevent such access.

  Not easy to get super flush with ceiling

  Its bright, looks clean, the light is great and it is a good price. I would have bought some more but they seem to be unavailableGetting the thing fitted was easy but the result isn't super flush with the ceiling (which I know is flat). Personally I think it needs a couple of shims or washers in the kit. Having said that it looks fine - I just can't help looking at the slight gap at one end.

  Bright, light and looks good but a little expensive.

  I bought it for a porch light for nighttime use. It is so bright, way brighter than I thought. (Perhaps could have had half the Wats) If for the house, it's super bright, so neighbours might look twice, but if that's what you're after, then it's pure white light is exceptional. Bought another one for my garage! The plastic case is basic and not cheap looking but you can see its budget, so I'd have expected a £19.99 up to £24.99 price after seeing it. But, It's square design is modern and if is light you need, it's very good.

  Great light very bright , slim looks good. Was very easy to install no electrician required, fits tight to the ceiling. Can very highly recommend. A++

  Very bright

  It’s very bright. Too bright in the living room to watch TV with it on. I moved it to the hallway as a result. Probably better in a kitchen. It can’t be dimmed either. But it’s cheap though!
