- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 September 2018Good qualityJust ordered a second as this one has been going for around a month on the integrated timer and is more than adequate. Our house has ridiculously expensive electric storage heaters which were costing too much and hardly heating the house. This winter we will use just plug in oil heaters and see how we go. So far we used it on lowest setting out of three and it nicely warmed up our top landing and bathroom. It clicks occasionally when turning on and off but that doesn’t bother me. Good value for money and eventually with one in each room by winter we will be warmer than last year!Update - now in March and been using three of these all winter. Had all on number 1 and mid way on the temp dial. Living room, hallway and bedroom. Kept our house really warm and had them all on 24/7. Costs us the same as using the storage heaters which warmed the house for a few hours then were freezing cold after a while. Still very happy.**UPDATE Oct 2019** still going good, still happy. Value for money.**UPDATE Sept 2021** still happy! In use all the time!

It did a great job of warming our kitchen and made the room perfect in winter........until yesterday morning when it pissed oil all over my floor and filled the kitchen with smoke! After unplugging it was still smoking and that’s when I could see small flames through the grills, I had to pick it up with oven gloves and put it in the garden where it was thankfully pouring down so this put the flames out. This is an ideal radiator if you want your family to potentially die.

It was used for 3-4 months & seemed to do a good job.We then put this item back into storage as the weather became warmer & have started using it again.However after only 1 weeks use, the knob that is used to turn the heat up or down completely MELTED..The melted knob dropped to my carpet & the plastic has burnt & marked my carpet.I am fuming about this.. Not only that, I panicked as the thing began to melt infront of my very eyes, and tried to turn the heat off & ended up burning my finger.. It was EXTREMELY hot.Absolutely fuming & my carpet is ruined.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 September 2018Powerful heater, heats up quickly and retains heat wellHaving recently moved my two guinea pigs indoors for the winter, I needed a way to keep the outbuilding (a summer house converted into an office) warm. I had been using a 1KW oil heater but it took ages to heat up and was too small for the space so I ordered this heater from Amazon having read some of the other reviews.I'm very happy to say that this heater (which admittedly is 2.5 times more powerful than the old one) heats up in a fraction of the time and retains heat very well. I am using a smart plug with thermostat to control the heater and it comes on for just five minutes at a time when the temperature drops below 18oC and turns off when the temperature is grater than 18.5oC - in reality (due to the size of the room and the location of the temperature probe) the temperature reaches around 22oC before it turns off, but that is still a 4oC raise in temperature in just over five minutes.The heater is coming on once to twice every two hours for just five minutes a time - so the combination of insulation in the summer house, and the efficiency/heat retention of the heater means the heat loss over the two hour period is around 4oC which I think is excellent. At current electricity rates, this is working out at around 45p per day (assuming one five minute cycle 12 times a day, or every 2 hours).For those less inclined to use smart devices to control the heater, it comes with builtin controls and an analog timer switch for doing so but as I am not using them, I cannot comment on them (I leave the heater permanently on and on full power and let the smart plug do the switching).

FIRE DANGER !!!Used for a few weeks for a couple of hours per day, all good, but then....Stopped working, took it apart and the wiring has literally burnt out (see picture). The internal cabling is thin low-current gauge, but this is an electric heater with a 13 amp fuse and the internal cabling has melted and split throughout!!!! Danger!!!! Fire risk!!!!!!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 December 2018Only a month after purchase the item stopped working effectivelyLike so many others who have made the mistake of purchasing this item, it worked for a month then the day the returns window closed, it started screeching annoyingly before basically ceasing to work.It gets slightly warm but nowhere near as much as a unit of this size and price should.The Dimplex which replaced it works an absolute charm. As it has done for many years.Buyer beware; this company is an absolute disgrace.It is unlawful to sell items which are not suitable for the purpose for which they are sold.

I looked back at the heater and saw smoke and the the holes in the grill were a bright orange!Only had this a month and it's already broke itself and could have been a lot worse! Never buying from ProBreeze again and would definitely urge you to stay away if you have a small child around.

Made strange noise one day and then wasn't right for about a week and now stopped working completely! So annoyed as I only have storage heating which costs a fortune and rely on these heaters heavily and now house is freezing!Trying to be objective so will say that it was a Quick delivery and easy set up and until it stopped working was great heater but it should defiently have a longer life than 2 months!!! So so so disappointed.

I love that I can set it to turn on the temp. at a specific time, for example, When I arrive home from work, the house is nice and warm. I truly reccomend the Pro Breeze oil filled radiator. It’s worth it every single penny

I just moved to a place without a central heating where only electric fan radiators were supplied. It felt really cold even when using two of those and after switching them off, it was getting freezing immediately. I had this Pro Breeze radiator only since two days but the difference is huge! Heats up the place really quickly, holds up the heat after it switches off and has a timer which is extremely useful. The wheels were a bit tricky to put on and the instructions were not detailed enough therefore there is 4 stars, however, I am very happy with it so far!

- What are the dimensions length, width and height?Measuring my own it’s (h) 62cm (w )46 & (d) 15 but at the feet (d) is 26. I can add that this is a very efficient heater with easy to operate timer.
- Does this product have guarantee/ warranty?Yes, out products comes with 12 months warranty.
- How energy efficient is it?Will be pretty much 100%. Most energy losses are via heat. So for a heater, all the energy losses are beneficial. Making them extremely efficient. The only losses will be noise if you can hear it, which will be negligible.
- Would this be safe in my baby’s bedroom at night ? Are any fumes released when using it ?No fumes. I’d just say you need to get the temperature setting right as it gets hot if you have it turned onto highest setting (too hot for long periods) but has 3 settings on it and you can use the timer. Brilliant oil filled radiator though
