- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 30 August 2019Love this drying rackThis has made such a difference to dealing with washing in our busy family home. We can get a load dried a put away in a day. Heavier weight items take 24 hours but I have washed my kids' uniforms of an evening and they are dry by the morning. It takes a bit of getting used to loading it due to the structure to hold it up but once you get into the swing of it there is no problem. Stuff dries best at the top (what with heat rising) so we put thinner, quicker drying items towards the bottom.Overall a great purchase that I have told lots of people about!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 November 2018Great for drying clothes in the winterI'm so glad I decided the purchase this mini dryer, it's been a great buy. Struggling to dry clothes on wet radiators when the weather's bad is finally in the past. As an added bonus, it generates enough heat to warm up our conservatory on chilly days, even with the (separately purchased) cover on. Although this is the mini sized model, I find there's plenty of hanging space for our needs. The dryer's really easy to put up and folds flat when not in use.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 January 2019LifesaverPerfect for what we need it for with a new baby in the house and no tumble dryer! Much smaller than expected, however there is still lots of hanging room. Loss of a star as difficult to hang larger items such as hoodies and jeans on and you have to take the cover off completely each time in order to be able to easily reach all the space. Unlikely to hold 15kg laundry as advertised but great for our regular small washes of baby clothes. Would recommend getting the larger airer for bigger families or regular larger washes!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 November 2018A good investmentI have been in two minds in investing in a heated airer in the last few months but I’m so glad I have.We have a small flat so room is limited and I bought the smaller version . There is loads of racks for a full wash and leaving it on through the night is brilliant ( ideally I would recommend buying the cover too as this keeps the warmth in ) it’s more or less dry by the morning and quickly clothes are put away ( I had noticed while using a non heated airer , it was out for 1to 2 days.. waiting for them all to dry).
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 February 2020Eased my washing blues! After 10 years being used to using a tumble dryer, I moved in to a much smaller place where there wasn't room. No matter I thought, got night storage heaters which will dry my clothes easily - wrong. With night stores it takes 2 nights to dry, plus often the clothes still smelt damp. After much thought, due to the cost, I decided to get the airer, plus a cover, and I'm so glad I did. It dries the clothes overnight, including jeans, towels and bedding. Next morning if any part is still slightly damp (ends of jean legs for instance), I just fold the clothes up ready for going away, lay them back on the airer racks, replace the cover and turn off the airer. An hour later I put the clothes away all nice and dry. No more damp smells and my electric use hasn't really gone up. Delighted with it. Means I can do a load when I went, not dictated on whether I had space to dry it. Well worth the money and I would recommend.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 November 2018Easy to store and practical!I like the lightness and easiness to use this product as I live on a small apartment and I do not have lot of space for drying my laundry. Is really easy to open and does not take a lot of room. The clothes are dry in half the time that before I discover this heated airer!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 December 2018Beware you don't buy the castors.Pity I also bought the castors but they only fit the deluxe model.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 January 2019So pleased with itemWasn't sure about ordering the airer, so pleased I did. Delivery great without a load of packaging...so easy to set up and all double bedding dried in 4 hours. Perfect size for my flat...have recommended to work colleagues ..Really pleased and would highly recommend
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 November 2019Does exactly what it says on the tinReally pleased with this, not only dries clothes efficiently but warms my study up at the same time. Great that you can fold it up, or use it half-extended, really pleased with this.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 25 September 2019So far goodIt dries the clothing in few hours and doesn’t take lot of space for storing. I tried with my sportswear that has been soaked wet in rain and it took roughly around 2-3hours to be fully ready.Another way to use beside drying is to warm up the clothings during winter time(or any other cold weather) by putting this airer in the bedroom. Then hang the clothings to wear when you got up early and back to bed. Few hours later, clothings are warm to wear so probably it might make the morning less depressing. This is just an idea that I thought so it could be unrealistic but might be worth to try.Thank you for reading this long review. Hopefully it would be helpful for some people.
Customer questions and answers
- our wire has broken, can you repair it?Send it back
- Is it ok to stand the airer on carpet while in use?Yes, absolutely fine on carpet or Lino or laminate floor, only the cross bars get moderately hot. Just needs to be near a socket outlet!
- What has been the effect on the monthly electric billI have found the heater to be really good on the electric and the cost is minimal. A lot cheaper than a tumble dryer.
- Does this leave a lot of wet air in the room causing damp and mould problems? same as directly placing on a radiator? thanks in advance!I would imagine so as the water is still being taken from the clothes as it would be drying any other way. I run a dehumidifier next to my airer, so haven't had any direct issues from the drying of clothes. I have to say I wouldn't be without my airer and highly recommend them.
