Frequently Asked Questions
1What is actual length of lead?
130 cm.
2Would this be to large for an 8'by 8' summerhouse thank you
depending on the construction of the summerhouse and when you intend to use it. in a simple structure in very cold conditions it would struggle to do much at all but a log cabin style in a normal winter you would feel the benefit I believe.
3Is there any guarantee
Couldn’t find the word guaranteed but I assume under EU law that a year would be the minimal warranty on electrical appliances?
4What are the running costs per hour please?
it's rated at 2.5kW, so in 1 hour it uses 2.5kWh. Your utility bill will quote the cost per kWh which is a standard unit of domestic electric; multiply that figure by 2.5 and that's the cost per hour. Typical cost per kWh is £0.15.

Customer Review
- ★★★★★ Excellent brand of oil filled radiatorReviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 February 2019I bought the smaller version of this at first and it is a brilliant, reliable little heater. I needed something a little bigger to heat my 30m2 brick build shed so bought the bigger version as I was impressed with the first Netta one I bought.Nice and powerful, I only need it on half power to heat my shed (brick and block build with 75mm of wall insulation) and it only comes on 3 times a day for a couple of hours.Easy to attach the wheels and looks nice and modern. Don't be put off with the price, I'm happy with both the Netta radiators I've got.
- ★★★★★ Winter heater.Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 October 2019Bought as a winter heat back up to run overnight on economy 7. Really does warm my whole house up that's open plan. Actually had to turn it down once heated up as was too warm. So excellent to keep winter chill away without leaving the central heating running.
- ★★★★★ Very poor - stop working after 13 months!Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 February 2020Worked ok for 1 year & then just stop working. Poor quality product & a waste of money.
- ★★★★★ Very good for the price.Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 October 2019It heats a 12 foot by 14 foot living room quite comfortably and the thermostat worked well. If i was picking flies, the timer is a bit of a fiddle, and its heavier then it looks when your attaching the casters.
- ★★★★★ Excellent productReviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 November 2019I was impressed with the efficient delivery and the ease of use of these radiators. This is in sharp contrast to the delivery of two Von Haus radiators from Domu UK. These were both delivered with the same dangerous fault - the cover of the electrical controls was not secured properly to main part of the radiator. This left the wiring exposed! The Netta radiators arrived in perfect condition, were easy to set up and have performed well.
- ★★★★★ Quickly heats a room but will cost you in electricity.Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 July 2020The radiator heats up quickly and can easily keep a medium sized room toasty. The ability to switch between 1000 and 2000 watts is handy (we rarely use the latter). The timer function and thermostat is also very handy to prevent you using power unnecessarily. When you are using it on full it will make the electricity meter spin which is the only downside. I liked the short power cable as in my opinion it's more of a safety feature than something long that could be tripped over, resulting in a hot radiator potentially falling over and burning someone.
- ★★★★★ Great for someone who can't control a heaterReviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 March 2019My elderly mum who can't remember how to control things finds this a great addition to her heating. It gives her the extra boost she needs in cold weather, but once set she doesn't need to touch it. Perfect.
- ★★★★★ Small but powerfulReviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 November 2019We bought this for a large, cold top-floor room. It's job is not to heat the space fully but to take the edge off for certain times when people are getting up or going to bed. It does exactly this and makes the space much more comfortable. The timer function is extremely useful. I recommend this product.
- ★★★★★ It's okay but was expecting betterReviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 October 2021It's okay and it takes the chill off. I do have a large open plan kitchen and living room.. however I was expecting to heat the room much better been 11 fin, I purchased a 7 fin last winter, which stop working a few months after, but that heated my room perfectly. This only seems to take the chill off, but comfortable to sit it.I've been checking my smart metre, if kept on constantly.. it works out £7 -£8 a day.You can still touch the radiator when it's been on for hours, it's hot.. but not to the point where you instantly need to removed you hand because it burns you.For a smaller room it might work really well .. mine is 5 metres x 15 metres, I just assumed that if a 7 fin could warm the room up well, then a 11 fin would have been perfect... but as per usually with items off Amazon, once purchased you're screwed and it cost more to return and virtually impossible for a refund while some t**t keeps getting richer.
- ★★★★★ Good portable heater for a moderately sized room, needs longer cableReviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 August 2020My wife and I have storage heaters in the house and the electricity costs associated with them are phenomenally high. As such we've had cheap portable heaters before but in the Winter the amount they are used often causes them to break relatively quickly. This heater has a good output, heats up pretty quickly, and despite the weight is pretty portable. The heater is placed in our living room and struggles a little because the stairs in the room go straight upstairs with no doors to keep the heat in, so what is a moderately sized room is actually a much larger space. As such this heater hasn't been good at raising the temperature of the room quickly. But if you're sat near it, or leave it on for a few hours to have the best affect, it does okay.My biggest bugbear is that the cord for the plug is not particularly long, meaning that if you have anything near the plug socket it is difficult to keep the radiator away from it. This is flawed as plug sockets traditionally have things plugged into them, so other stuff is likely to be near.
