- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 March 2017Not bad, but rubbish instructionsLooks good. I bought two and they heat the house (3 bed semi) fine on chilly days. The reason I haven't given it 5 stars is because of the absolutely rubbish instructions that come with it. They made using the timer unnecessarily fiddly and it flat out contradicts it's self. I had to contact the manufacturer to get clarification and got advice that was actually hopelessly wrong. After trial and error I have now worked it out and it's working fine.UpdateWell having used them only occasionally I am now totally disgusted with the quality. The thermostat broke on one after about 6 months and the other one has just blown the fuse box (keeping in mind it has not been required all summer, so obviously not over used) These are NOT safe to leave on a timer and go to work. The electrics are rubbish
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 April 2018Great heater but mine developed a fault and stopped workingGreat radiator, I had it for two months and it really threw out some heat warmed all of my open plan house downstairs however I turned it on after returning from a cold shopping day and nothing? No lights no heat, I tried the fuse and I tried it in a different socket but it was dead. I contacted the company and got an immediate response to return the radiator which I did and was issued a full refund once they received it with no problems. So maybe I got a faulty one but it was brilliant when it was working and the company are faultless if there are any issues, I would recommend this based on how good it was when it was working and would use them again.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 November 2017Far too noisy but heats wellBought this as I'm in a rented house with no heating (not broken, just doesn't have any) and wanted something with a timer so I could set it to come on early morning/before bed. It works pretty well and fairly quickly warms my mid-sized room, but wish I'd paid more attention to the reviews mentioning the noise. I'm a heavy sleeper so thought perhaps people were just complaining and that it wouldn't bother me but it clicks and creaks constantly, loudly - so when using it for a 5am setting it's waking me - and probably my housemates - up. Frustrating as otherwise it's a good product - easy to add the wheels, easy to set. Will keep using it out of necessity but may have to buy some ear plugs!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 October 2018DamageJust realized this company charges £4 per heater to return -even though I'm returning faulty items - Be Ware! Exposed wires and loose connection between 'fins' - could not risk turning it on. Perhaps a risky item to order on line but trusted the transit was secure.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 December 2017Minor assembly faults spoil otherwise excellent productI recently bought a second of these radiators having been pleased with the efficiency of my original purchase. I use one of the radiators to provide additional warmth and/or to avoid having to turn on the central heating system in my front bedroom, which is currently being used as a home office. The room measures approximately 15 feet x 12 feet and the radiator quickly warms it up, even on a medium setting. The second radiator was purchased recently for my 95 year old father, after his central heating boiler broke down. These are not the prettiest radiators in the world, but the’re effective at getting the place warm. Only disappointment from my point of view is that both radiators have minor assembly/quality control faults. On the first to be delivered, one of the metal fins doesn’t fit as neatly as it should, causing a gap between the fin and the casing. On the second, the top of one of the fins is a little bit rough, so that, if you’re not careful, you can snag your finger. I would have given the product 5 stars were it not for these minor faults.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 January 2019Melted Mains socket & plugI used it for roughly around 12-15 days. Used during the night on timer mode set for 15 minutes interval on/off.The smell of burning rubber was noticed a few days back.Mains to which this heater was connected was the source of the burning smell.Switched off the mains' switch and removed the socket. To my shock, I found out that it burnt one of the pinholes of mains. A pin of the plug which is responsible for burning also melted.I hope I get refund/replacement.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 November 2019Potentially dangerousI bought this in May, but only started using it in my garden office for the first time last month (Oct). The office is well insulated so only use the radiator 1 hour in the morning, and again briefly after lunch. So not much use at all. Today i turned it on, after 10 mins or so i thought i could smell burning, then turn round and see smoke billowing out of the top of it. It was still operating, but has obviously developed a dangerous electrical fault. Its not been moved or touched, so with little use, has developed a potentially lethal fault. I wouldn't want to leave this on overnight for people who intend to that. You never now. Currently in discussion with Amazon how to resolve, as only 6 months old, but bought from a verified seller.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 October 2021DEATH TRAP! DO NOT BUY.Dangerous product! We plugged it in for the first time and it wasn't even on two minutes before smoke was bellowing from it, we managed to rush it outside before the flames started, luckily we have a fire extinguisher. So it did nearly heat the entire house up but just not in the way we thought. Don't attempt to use this unless you live next door to the fire station. We are still coughing from the smoke.
Customer questions and answers
- is it economicalCertainly not! I purchased one and my electric went from £2.90 per day to £7.36. So as you can imagine its was quickly thrown out to the garage to collect dust. Hope this answers your question.
