SO SHADE IS DETACHED SINCE PURCHASE!!!!Unbelievably confusing instructions on how to simply attach a shade to the bulb section rim. Before you twist the bulb in. I spent a long time trying to work it out. Sometimes because things are so simple, it becomes so confusing. So the lamp ^shade* is still detached to this day. Not what I expect for this price at all. Price is not economical in relation to the product. Although it aesthetically ‘looks nice, walk past it, the shade falls off as not attached. Considered sending back to Amazon, but no one replying or answering calls.

I bought it for my daughters bedroom and she has loved it, really so elegant and pretty as well as sturdily designed that it is wel worth the extra pounds - we went through a couple cheap wilko and ikea lamps - that were So flimsy. The lamp thoughtfully comes with a bulb but I went for a Philips e12 in higher wattage 40Watts in top in my order to achieve the brightest result, even with no room lights gives a very calm pretty soft and bright effect despite the size.

The lamp came with a bulb; however, I replaced this bulb with a Philips Hue one. Overall, I am pleased with this lamp and would definitely recommend it to others.

Once I had got the hang of putting the shade on to the base it was fine, but I am notoriously unhandy. The bulb looks unusual, I hope I can get replacements easily.

Probably can get something a bit better for the cost but having tried all the local shops I decided easier to buy online than travel a long way to get a small lamp. Quite stylish. I read other reviews and agree with them mostly. The brightness is ok for me.

They are very solidly built and can’t be compared with the old plastic ones they had. They are quite small but very suitable as bedside lamps. The white colour is very suitable for any colour scheme. The free bulb included as a plus as we got to use them right away.

- What size is thw diameter of the base and the widest part of the shade?For your information, the diameter of the base is 12 cm and the diameter of the wisest part of the shade is 15 cm.
- Please could soneone let me know where the on/off switch is situated. If in the wire may I know how far along?The on/off switch is situated on the wire, 31cm from the lamp base.
- Hi i bought this a year ago and bulb has ran out what is the exact name off the bulb i need to replace it withYou may use a LED bulb or incandescent bulb under 25 watts. In addition, please make sure that the screw socket is E14.
- Can this lamp take an led lightbulb with a b22 cap since it is a universal led lamp?These lamps are supplied with an LED bulb, you do not need to purchase them separately....
