Frequently Asked Questions
1These lamps have arrived but have a label with max 20w on them. does anyone know is that up to 20w incandescent bulbs, or 20w led? thank you
Mine have traditional type 40w bulbs in them and no problems. 20w seems very low. Suggest you ask Amazon why the limitation isn't mentioned in the advert.
2Would these lamps look ok in a living room
Yes they do look very nice in my living room. They look good as a pair and being neutral in colour would enhance any room. The arrived within three days of ordering, well packaged and very good value for such a reasonable price. I would recommend.
3Where is the on/off switch located.
The on/off switch is located just under the bulb area, NOT on the flex.
4Do these come in polished chrome
Hello, Thanks for your enquiry. These lamps are available in a shiny silver version. You should be able to find them by searching for "Kingswood Silver" on Amazon. Kind Regards, Lighting Supermarket

Customer Review
- ★★★★★ Nice lamps, wrong product info.Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 August 2020These are nice lamps, although they are large for bedside lights. Lots of misleading product info though, the listing states BC bulb fitting but they're E27. A question has been asked about where the switch is, most of the answers state it's on the lamp itself, and this was part of my reason for choosing them as our toddler fiddles with lower down switches. Lamps arrive - it's on the flex.
- ★★★★★ Excellent quality and valueReviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 May 2020I bought these table lamps as a pair. They are excellent quality and value - they arrived on time, safely and well packaged and were easy to assemble. They look lovely in the same room and are worth buying together - if you need 2 table lamps - and have the budget for 2 table lamps, as they arrive at the same time and it is a lower price compared to buying the 2 table lamps separately - so the money saved can be used to buy the light bulbs - I always try to remember the light bulbs when buying table lamps.
- ★★★★★ Check very carefullyReviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 November 2019These looked so pretty, but when I got them both bulbs flickered when fitted and 1 of the lamps was very loose. I couldn't screw any parts together, so it was barely able to stand up on it's own. Very dangerous. I had to return. The company then said would I like to keep them and they would offer a small refund! Sadly not terribly impressed.
- ★★★★★ V good price for two, base well made, switch on lamp holder, ideal for bedroom(my opinion)Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 30 September 2020Base well made, switch on lamp holder good, shades spoil quality of base for me,will change, suitable for bedroom good reading light overall effect mellow, but could change bulbs if want, price very good for two.
- ★★★★★ StunningReviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 October 2021Lovely lamps really elegant, lamp shades are nice and big really lovely used as a pair for bedroom units or one in living room on your table
- ★★★★★ Love theseReviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 January 2020Arrived next day with no damage. I was a bit concerned they might be too large for the bedroom but they are perfect with plain cream linen shades and the twist design being an exact match for my drawer handles.
- ★★★★★ quality and styleReviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 January 2021We bought this together with the floor lamp and have to say not disappointed with any of it. Style, quality all very good. Suits us perfectly. Would certainly be happy to buy more table lamps if we need them without a 2nd thought. Just love the style.
- ★★★★★ Good value for moneyReviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 January 2021Arrived well packed, look really nice on bedside cabinet. Very pleased with them.
- ★★★★★ lovely lampsReviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 October 2021lovely lamps-well made and good quality
- ★★★★★ Great Bed side lightsReviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 June 2019Initially I was a little concerned that they might be too big as a bed side light , but in the event they were absolutely fine. Good quality items, that look good and work well
