I have purchased glass shades for them as I found that LED lightbulbs were quite bright. I wasn't sure before purchasing them that chandeliers wouldn't be "over the top" but they look really elegant and have transformed my 1930s house. I am very pleased with the results..

- Are these a pendant style fit or do you have to mount them through a joist as per old style heavy ones..cheersThey are not that heavy but I had a board attached to the joist then fitted the the light as you never know with old houses. Didn’t want to take any chances.
