- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 September 2021Remember these can do a lot of damage.I liked that thay were light and comfortable in my hands, thay can be cleaned with a soapy cloth. Remember to work from behind the cutting edge when cleaning. The set of knives are great value for my money. One last thing check your fingers after you clean the knives.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 October 2021A great starter knife set...This knife set comes boxed and is protected extremely well. Box, bubble wrap bag, plastic sleeve and finally the blades are protected by a hard plastic sheath. They look, and feel, like they are well-built knives. They don’t feel overly heavy on the blade side and sit comfortably in the hand. The sheaths have just the right amount of friction, but you need to put them back on the right way. You can tell which way they go as the end of the sheath will be level with the end of the knife handle. Out of the box, these knives are very sharp and cut food easily and food doesn’t stick to the blade. They are not super sharp but can be sharpened if needed. They do tend to lose their sharpness quickly but a quick run on the knife sharpener brings them back. I quite like the handles, but I think it’s going to fall to personal taste with them. They are a smooth, velvety plastic which feels nice to hold. They are quite grippy so you shouldn’t lose grip on them during use. The grey wood pattern looks different but looking closely, it looks like it could be printed on but I’m not 100% sure. I’ve took a picture so you can see for yourself, but I really like the design. This is a great knife set for the money and come sharp out of the box. The low grade steel will need sharpening more often than more expensive knives but at this price point, I’m impressed for the quality you do get.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 30 September 2021Sharp and effective knivesFrom out of the packaging (of which there is quite a bit) these are good, sharp knives that deliver better than average performance for a budget set. The knives have comfortably shaped handles, made from a soft grip, lightly textured plastic. For personal preference, I didn’t like the feel of the handles - there’s something about the texturing that sets off the same shudder response as torn cardboard, but since this is a very personal quirk, I haven’t deducted any stars on this front. I’m not overly keen on the wood effect patterning on the handles, which looks really unnatural. The contrast in tones on the wood patterning doesn’t seem to be as great in real life as in the product images. The black blades have a very striking appearance, though it is a bit of a concern that over time bits of the black finish may chip off into food, particularly once we get to the stage where the blades need sharpening. The knives all come with hard plastic blade guards. The bread knife cuts straight (unlike some others we have owned). The chef’s knife and santoku knife are great for chopping, and slicing, and manage well with both fruit and veg, and meat alike. The utility and paring knives are handy for smaller jobs sure as coring apples. Good set of knives at a reasonable price point, the the handle design and blade colour might not appeal to everyone.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 October 2021Very sharp!I must say I very well-designed set of kitchen knives. quality of the material will get into a little bit later but in general design and the actual feel of it is really nice now the handle feels great the edges are sharp but the only issue have had with this is the fact that it loses sharpness quite quickly. it of course can be re sharpened with a sharpening tool and someone but the sharpness does die very quick now Marshall why maybe it's the material but that's what's caused the issue for me other than that I mean of course it was a very different unique design that I saw so that's why I wanted to get grab myself a set you get settled five now for the price Africa is in a very competitive range so the company must be cautious of this but I believe that they do a good job but the only inconvenience it may cause is that feel busy he need a sharp knife an for awhile this might be the best thing to get because they do die out quite quickly but you've got to obviously keep a shop in the next year all times with these knives. overall though I mean for the price range I guess it's okay it's not that bad obviously again I said it's competitive so you've got to be cautious but I mean it looks cool and I feel like it's a good set.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 October 2021Very comfortable ergonomic handles and non-stick blades that need care for longevityThis is a very attractive and essential set of knives. They are sharp just as knives should be. The ergonomic handles are very comfortable. I use the paring knife every day preparing all my vegetable and need it to be sharp and comfortable as I don’t use other gadgets but chop them on a board too. They have very useful sheaths for each knife which is very useful to protect the blades in a busy cutlery drawer. The handles are very smooth, no obvious joins so they are unlikely to start breaking up with use. Although they are dishwasher safe, hand wash is recommended. To make them last longer I find that a quick wipe is so easy that I do that rather than putting them in the dishwasher. The most important aspect of care is not to put them in a place or to use scourers that could scratch the non-stick blades. There are detailed instructions as to how to clean the knives on the box under the title ‘Look after your knives, and they will look after you’.They come in an attractive box so would make a very useful gift for anyone setting up home and cooking for themselves. At the current price of £ 19.99 for the set they are good value for money. I had fast delivery.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 October 2021The best knives set under £20!!I am blown away by the quality of this set for under £20! By far the best valued and quality I have tried. In fact, I previously owned a knife set which cost £70 and this set far exceeds in quality and sharpness. The handles are easy to hold and I love that each knife comes with a safety guard to protect the blade (and of course yourself) when the knife isn’t in use.The knives are all very sharp and have a lovely finish both on the blade and handle. As the handle is PP based, it is far more hygienic than wood as it is easier to clean and bacteria doesn’t tend to hide within the material itself. I can easily see this set lasting for the years to come and the price tag make this set ideal for university students or those on a budget looking for a good quality set of knives. The metal is also not flimsy yet is thin enough at the tip to provide a clean and smooth cut each and every time.Overall, 5 stars!Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! :)
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 October 2021Perfect knife for the kitchen. This knife is literally perfect, I don't think I've used better knives my whole life.Likes:1. It's extremely sharp2. The design is class and the colour is literally top notch#3. I love the feel of the knife and how it feels your hands perfectly when you hold it4. The texture of the knife is also smooth and at the same time fits into the hand, it's not slippery.5. I like that they come in different sizes which you can use for different purposes.I can't and don't have any negative thing to say about these knives however I would advice not use it for eating (I know it's not sensible to eat with these knives but couldn't resist) as they get blunt when you use them to eat meat and your food for some weird reason. I've been using one of the knives for eating and it got blunt unlike the rest that I only use for cutting items so please stick to using it for its purpose in my opinion. Perfect value for money.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 October 2021Very Well priced - Good quality Knife Set.I have several knife sets and have had many of the years, all of varying quality so can tell when knives are good or not. This set of knives are very well priced for what they are - all though obviously very different sizes they work put at just £4 each…including the knife sheaths which protect the hands from cuts when storing. The handles are velvety smooth and the blades non-stick - only time will tell how long the non stick lasts. The blades are sharp although not as sharp as some knives I have (but of course will cut you very badly if not careful!) but comparing to others. If you don’t have a knife block, the sheaths are a great safety idea and keep the blades from catching against other things in the cutlery draw.If you are after a decent set of knives and nothing super expensive than these are perfect - they would also make a good gift to someone setting up home.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 October 2021Lightweight and comfortable to useThis is a great set of knives. I ordered them because I really liked their handles because they look like they are made of wood, in fact the handles are made of plastic but have a fine texture, pleasant to the touch. They came sharpened acceptable but I had to resharpen them to get a decent sharpness.I have been using them for almost a week now after carefully sharpening all of them on my sharpening stone and I am very pleased with their performance so far. I just need to be careful when sharpening on the stone as the black coating on the blades seems to scratch easily. They are quite lightweight and I would like them to be slightly heavier but for the price I believe that this is a great set of kitchen knives with a nice design. They do seem to be non-stick as they are really easy to clean after use.Overall I am happy with them and I have no reason to rate it less than 5 stars.
