Customer Review
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 30 November 2018Worst product ever.... not fit for purpose. These knives are just awful. When on broke we thought perhaps it was a fluke, but then they all started to break and we realised what a poor quality item this really is. We can even say it’s damage from the dishwasher as we don’t own one and these items have always been hand washed. The pictures speak for themselves
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 August 2019Looks lovely... for a week or 2Very saddened that this product is ruined already, not had for long, less than 2 weeks, just moved house and they took pride of place, now I’m hiding them away as they have gone a funny colour on the rose gold handle. Very disappointed as I only every hand washed them and dried them too.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 August 2018Didn't stay sharp for longFirst impressions of this product were good but their build quality is questionable. After 3 months the rose gold colour is heavily faded, the handles are becoming loose from the blade and the handles paint is heavily chipped. These are only good for display purposes
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 January 2018Rubbish, bad quality.Crap quality - tops fallen off two knives after two uses. Not worth the money. Also Damascus steel ‘look’ but not Damascus steel (obviously for the price) although it doesn’t say its only look until you get the box. Do not buy.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 April 2018Don’t buy, not worth the moneyVery poor quality. honestly, probably only worth £10. The blades are not real Damascus, it’s just a pattern applied to each blade. The handles are made of rubber and cheap looking plastic. They look good in the pictures but not real live.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 January 2018Looks good...but looks are not everything (or so my wife keeps telling me...hmmmm)Should read Damacus "effect" knife set to be truthful : yes, they are super sharp but they are not Damascus steel, just laser etched with the patterning on the outside. But that is of course reflected by the price. I knew they wouldn't be the real deal when I bought them. They certainly look good but after a few uses in the kitchen I see one of my blades has bent sideways when cutting mere vegetables. A stylish set of knives at a pretty good price but I am left wondering how long they will last. And they are not dishwasher-proof (said so on the leaflet in the box).
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 September 2020Very pretty, very lightweight. We have a rose gold theme going on for our kitchen so bought these to match.Personally I really like this set, the pattern on them is interesting, the the light knurling of the handle helps with grip. However they are very lightweight, which I like as it makes me feel in control of the knife, but I know for others they prefer a weightier knife. If you are used to working with heavier knives, or prefer more weight to your knife, these WILL be too lightweight for you.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 March 2019Rose gold tainted after one useI bought the tower knife set as i have many of the products in my kitchen and was adding to my collection.. the knife set were maily for show purposes.. but tonight i thought ill use my new set rather than my old blunt ones.. the knife did its job it was sharp and served its purpose well.. once washed in warm soapy water i noticed the rose gold has tainted badly.. its now a completely different colour to the rest of the rose gold kitchen utensils bought from the tower range.. i cant find anywhere to try and exchage my product either so now i guess im stuck with the set discouloured..
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 31 March 2018DamagedTHe product was damaged, white handle colour had been scratched off from what it looked like and ruined the look of the whole set
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 October 2021Poor qualityI must say I was really excited when I first got them as they looked great…that didn’t last long though. Only had them for couple of months when noticed that not only the handles started yellowing but the the enamel was simply pealing off. I wash the knives by hand after each use and I must say that I am very disappointed. Beautiful design but very poor quality. Maybe they are only meant to be used as decorations?? if you want durable knives then these are definitely NOT the one to buy
