  Great heat retention - a little too great?

  There’s no doubt this is a great travel mug.... though possibly a little TOO good. It retains heat like no mug I’ve ever used, which sounds great in theory. In practice it means i am unable to drink my morning coffee on my 90 minute drive to work as it’s simply still too hot to drink. I find the lid hole opening to be just a little too small to take big sips as well. I really want to give this 5 stars and for many folk it would be perfect. But sadly I can only give 4 stars as the only way I can drink my coffee at a normal temperature is to remove the lid entirely whilst driving - kinda defeats the object of a travel mug. It’s well built though and completely leak proof.

  I should say, I am not a very trusting person when it comes to online purchases, but I do it anyway out of no choice.It took me hours to finally decide on which thermos flask to buy,but, I have never been happier.1. Its tightly sealed characteristic is as true as said; no leakage?2. My coffee/tea remained hot for atleast 8hours. I tried putting cold drink and ice cubes at 8.20am closed it, at 9pm, the ice cubes were still there yet to dissolve! I screamed in disbelief!??3. It is so Light weighted.Overall, I love my flask.Discliamer: I have only just started using it.However, I've been using it everyday for almost 2 weeks now and the testimony remains the same!The four star is for margin of error,just incase the flask starts misbehaving after a couple of months hahahaha. But take my word for it,this is a good buy!... JUNE 2020UPDATE :Fast forward to March 2021,my flask is still. Wonderful, dropped a couple of times clumsy hahaha, but still working great. Doesn't keep my tea hot for 16 hours, however, 10hours of sizzling hot isn't bad either after everyday use for almost a year.The liquid tends to leak out only IF THE RUBBER BAND ON THE INSIDE OF THE COVER LOOSEN. So try to keep the rubber band flat and you're good to go!

  Keeps liquid hot but coating a little let down

  The quality in terms of sturdiness, and keeping contents hot (and I mean hot, not just warm) but also having a cool to touch exterior are fantastic. It does exactly what you want it to do and keep your drink warm with out leaking if you are traveling or walking around a lot at work and carrying this with you. It is completely leakproof, I just turned upside down with it full of hot Marrakech and not a drop leaked out, and the opening mechanism is easy to flick up with one hand an drink. The only disappointment is hubby washed it before first use and it would appear the coloured coating does not stand up to the quality of the rest of the product (see picture). All in all a fantastic product and worth the money but if you are mainly buying for the colour of the mug then I suggest you look else where.

  Too big

  Keeps coffee hot, the lid is simple to use and my coffee tastes like coffee not plastic. Love the larger capacity too.So why the low score?It doesn't fit in my car's cupholder or the cupholder in my colleague's car.

  Great travel mug

  I was in two minds about ordering, after reading negative reviews about drinks pouring down people’s necks. I ordered, and got to use it for the first time today, and for those people having a problem, I wonder how they cope drinking out of an ordinary cup or mug!! Absolutely no issue here, drinking on a journey, and I don’t have a huge mouth. Wonderful product, highly recommended.

  Good for what it is.

  Some people are blatantly lying about this product, saying it will keep your drink warm for 12 hours or some nonsense. No, it will keep your drink hot for 2-3 hours max, and you should not expect more from it than that.This was designed for people who want a drink to remain hot for a few hours, so it was designed to be thinner and smaller because of that (it would need to be far thicker and bulkier to keep stuff hot longer). This is not a thermos you take on a fishing trip or something. This is designed for people who want it on the way to work, on the way to school, to put at your computer desk while you're busy with something.One negative I will say is this was designed to fail in a year or so (maybe far less if you use it every day), you can see the design choice behind the pop opening is to fail and you buying a new one. The joints and action are going to weaken from constant use, it's going to start leaking or it won't close properly. Fatigue of the joints are going to break it and that was a choice they made on purpose so you buy another one. You also can't screw the top off and drink from it that way, so it forces you to use the pop system to wear it out.Aside from that, it does what it's supposed to and it's not too expensive. When it breaks I'll be buying a different brand.

  Great design, thermal properties and non leaking

  I'm so glad I found a cup that keeps my drink hot and doesn't leak.I don't taste anything funny when drinking coffee (filter/instant)However when drinking earl grey I can taste metal.CleaningNo chance of getting your hand or a non bottle brush on there to clean.ONLY a bottle brush will work.I really like this cup, great reassuring snap when you close the seal.Great capacity and still easy to hold.Highly recommended this item.*** Edited ***I've had this for a while now and I'm so impressed with this. It does not leak.It's great to hold as it's very sleek ( narrow makes it sound thin, small.)At first I thought it was tall but I've gotten used to it and I really am pleased with this, great and it keeps my drink hot for what seems for ever.

  Disappointing quality

  The mug is good-looking and works well. unfortunately after less than 2 weeks the coating has started to peel away and no longer looks good.It is only used to take coffee to work in the morning and it is cleaned once a day in the dishwasher.Perhaps a different colour would perform better, but I am disappointed with the black version.

  disappointing purchase

  Like many during COVID19 lockdown & since the easing up, I'm spending a fair amount of time outdoors, so thought a thermos cup for coffee when out would be an ideal purchase. I read many of the reviews on this particular product & was encouraged a high proportion reported this cup as having good insulation. But unfortunately this just isn't the case. Within two hours my piping hot coffee was lukewarm & this replicates every time I've used it. A word of warning too about securing the lid, it's imperative to push it down when screwing it up, to ensure it sits straight on the main cup & the thread connects properly. I managed to scald myself the first time I used it. So overall, a disappointment all round.

  Such a shame

  Initially this cup seemed the answer to my need to keep a drink hot all day without carrying a thermos flask. Capacity is great, it’s great for keeping drinks warm but the rubber seal popped out within a few weeks and spilt hot drink all over my lap whilst I was driving, giving the beautiful look of having had the wrong kind of accident!So, as well as needing to dry myself out, I didn’t then have a drink. On investigation back at home, the seal can be pushed back in and the cup then lasted a few more weeks but then the rubber seal was just gone and despite my best efforts, the cup was no longer leakproof and as it doesn’t fit in my car’s cup holder, spilt in the car and if I tried to drink it through the lid.It’s a good cup but a bit too expensive to only last a few weeks and as other reviewers say, as you can’t buy a new lid, your just creating more landfill
