Customer Review
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 30 January 2018A really great productThese are great. I use them all the time, and 350ml is a good genreal size for tea/coffee and cold drinks. I also bought some smaller 250ml ones but I think these are a better size.If you have wooden tables or delicate surfaces like me these are perfect. No coaster needed, unless you have a tendancy to spill your drinks.Just don't try removing the plastic valve from the bottom like I tried to do at first. It's meant to let the let the air in and out. These are not in a vacuum, when you put hot liquid in, the air in the gap expands and some is forced out. With a cold drink the air shrinks and more air sucked in. It's just molecules doing their thing.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 February 2019really fragile!I ordered these as I'm clearing out the plastic cups in our cupboard. They seemed ideal as can be used for hot and cold drinks. After reading lots of reviews I opted for them over the version with handles. I thought as they were double walled they'd feel robust too. The reality was they're super thin glass and feel fragile as soon as you pick them up. They felt like they'd break just putting them down on the counter so it wasn't a restful way to have a drink. One broke being washed up on the first day they arrived so I returned them. I bought some cheap latte glasses in Tesco instead!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 March 2020Lovely Coffee GlassesI've owned a set of these for a month and these are my thoughts.1. Looks - very attractive when filled with coffee. It doesn't matter whether it's black or a latte, they look good. I use these with my coffee maker at home and it just about fits a latte in without spilling over, they look good.2. Size - just a bit smaller than a standard mug from a volume point of view...it's not a massive difference, but I did need to reprogram the latte setting on my machine to put just a little but less milk in otherwise it overflowed. If you can't reprogram your machine then you need to consider this.3. Fell - they are very tactile. I do like holding a glass and they very comfortable to hold.4. Resilience - I use them most days and they go in the dishwasher afterwards, so far I've had no issues - I'll update if any of them crack or if the vacuum seal breaks.5. Heat - they keep my coffee warm until I've finished it!Overall - they look good, they feel good and they haven't broken after a month of uncareful use.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 June 2020Keep drinks hot but they smash easily! At first, it was rather weird drinking tea out of a glass but now I can't drink out of a mug, as I prefer my tea hot and these glasses keep your drink hot for ages! The only downside is they are extremely fragile and break so easily. The slightest tap and they will shatter everywhere. One broke simply whilst I was stirring my coffee with a metal spoon. The bottom of it just cracked inside. To give you an idea, I've bought 5 of these 6 packs in the past 6 months (so 30 in total) and I'm afraid I only have two glasses left. My hubby won't let me buy any more as let's face it they're not cheap! They are great as you can hold them without burning your hands and you don't need any coasters, but you do have to be extremely careful. I also bought two of Bodum's larger glasses (Canteen) with a handle and they lasted a bit longer, but got smashed too.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 15 February 2020Well made and perfect addition to any kitchenI bought these glasses for my kitchen as I thought they looked stunning when I first saw them at work , so I decided to buy them for myself. These glasses are perfect for both cold and hot drinks and keep the temperature well. When using them for hot beverages, it doesn’t burn your hand and keeps the heat in longer. For colder drinks, it stays cooler for longer due to double walls, perfect for hot summer when you want your drinks to stay cooler for longer.Pleased with my purchase
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 December 2015After years of using them, I say they're better than a mug.I came across these types of glasses in the Netherlands a few years ago in a restaurant and I was so impressed that I got a single one of these Bodum glasses to try out. Well, it lasted two years before it broke and by that time I'd gotten used to my tea not going cold... so this time I bought six!The size might be hard to tell from an image on the internet. They hold a large mug's worth of tea/coffee/drinkofyourchoice and do a good job of slowing down hot drinks going cold or cold drinks going lukewarm. I often forget time passing behind the keyboard and seriously appreciate the practicality of these glasses! Big quality of life improvement over a regular mug.The only bad thing I'd say is that as scum builds up you're going to see it, unlike a normal ceramic mug. For tea I'm finding I use a wad of steel wool and hardly any pressure (careful not to scratch!) to clean the inside and it only takes a few seconds that way. I mean really, it cleans up in seconds. I wish the glasses could be personalised a bit more too to tell them apart.I've read problems putting these in dishwashers, so honestly I'd say just do them by hand as you don't want fluid getting through the seal on the base. Save yourself any problems by not soaking them either, just do them by hand with steel wool or some sort of pad, like I said it's so easy and fast. If you look after these glasses they should last you a while, but remember that they are glass and they're probably going to break at some point with everyday use.Overall, the everyday practicality outweighs the fragility by a long shot. I'd definitely recommend them. Maybe stick to mugs on occasions you fear breaking one. I also wish for personalisation options, which may come if the manufacturers have any sense. ;)
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 30 January 2020Wanted to like them, but too many misgivings. If you want to avoid burnt fingers and rings on your tables, and you like seeing your tea or coffee then these are not a bad buy. However, one month in we have 2 of 6 left, because they are just so so easy to break. We tried our hardest to be gentle with them, but we just couldn't succeed. Also, if you are small of hand, they are quite a challenge, they're quite fat and slippery so quite difficult to grasp, 2 of the broken 4 went that way.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 December 2019Best double walled glassesThese glasses are expensive, but best double walled ones out there. I've had some for over 3 years now and look as good as new. These are surprisingly break resistant too, took number of falls without braking.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 November 2020Really pleasedGreat for hot drinks - you can instantly hold a freshly made cup of tea without a handle. This size is the classic tea mug size.Annoyingly I knocked one over on my desk & it shattered into pieces - so maybe they aren’t as strong as the they look- but this is the glass version & not that plastic version you may come across.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 April 2020Best in double wall mugAfter researching so many double-walled glasses, I decided to go for this the brand I trust. I use it daily for coffee tea and wash manually. No scratch or crack so far. I m not most careful person when it comes to kitchenware. I bought it after seeing a similar one at Harrods. Definitely be replacing normal one with these soon.

- Is the 0.35l the best size for general use? I drink mainly cappuccino and lattes, as well as tea.In my opinion, yes. I have a Sage Barista Express and it just fits underneath the basket, with a slight tilt. I have 4 shots of coffee and frothed milk. Similar to the mug of coffee I used to make.
