Customer Review
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 November 2018Very goodHave used this for a few weeks, and have therefore given good testing before writing review..Well made body. Slightly disappointing lid thread but it works. When in CLOSED position, it does not leak.Initially tested with hot water, upside down/sideways in the sink, for an hour or so - No leaks.Has been used for real during commutes, all perfectly dry & no spills.Points to note, when putting hot drink in, remember that the flask WILL keep it hot. When you go to drink it through the OPEN mode, first sips will be very hot. To compensate this, I have often left it in OPEN position whilst sat at desk/train for a few mins. Will keep it hot. If you pre-heat the flask with very hot water before putting in your real drink, contents will stay hot for hours! When cleaning, ensure the lid is in the OPEN position and flush through well. Allow to dry in OPEN position too.Getting the manufacturers stickers off was a nightmare before first use. One flask took lots of soaking and teasing with a sponge/liquid. The other flask was relatively easy. Perhaps being different colours, they were made in different factories & had different glue???Highly recommended. Have got 2, and happy to give it very good rating.(If my review has been helpful, please press the HELPFUL button at the end. Thanks).
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 November 2018Love it!I have a hoard of different travel cups and this is my favourite by far!First, I love the look of it. It fits in my car cup holder and it feels nice to hold. Plus, it’s pink!It keeps my tea/coffee hot for a REALLY long time. Today, I went to drink my tea just over 4 hours after I’d made it and it was too hot to drink (I pre warmed it with boiling water for 15 mins before I used it). Another two hours later - leaving the cup switched to Open- and it is still a bit too hot. The cup doesn’t seem to leak - I haven’t had any accidents so far. Finally, the cleaning. The main cup bit is fine- the stainless steel inside washes out really easily with no residual smell. The lid does retain some coffee smells but I’ve found if you soak the whole lid in a bowl with very hot water and a denture tablet for about 20mins it gets rid of the taste/smell of leftover coffee. Very pleased, worth the price.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 December 2018Live with the stickers or returnWell i was looking forward using my new thermos but i was greatly disappointed by the cheap stickers. The stickers dont come off easy and leave a sticky mark behind, now the way to take sticky paper leftovers off is to use hot water which is what i did but it didnt work, i used a little kitchen brush again nothing... now using a kitchen brush which is widely used is unacceptable to see the state of my thermos after this, just ridiculous, wont be buying again certainly!Color looks good and it seems a good item if you want to live with these ugly stickers on it you should be fine.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 March 2019was good but broke after 4 monthsI bought this flask on 7th of November thinking it would last me a while but after minimal use the flask will no longer close and the metal rim around the lid has separated from the plastic so will no longer unscrew. Because I can't figure out how to message the seller I thought id write this review hoping it will be seen and I am expecting an email responding to this and hoping for a replacement as thought it should last longer than 4 months.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 25 June 2018but because we love them so muchThis is the third one of these we’ve bought....Not because they are faulty, but because we love them so much, even the children are asking for them. Keeps my coffee warm until at least lunchtime. Have used for cold water recently too, this is a godsend. For some reason tea doesn’t taste good in it, but great for coffee
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 January 2018I like the simple switch mechanism to open/closeReally works well keeping my drink hot with no leaks. I like the simple switch mechanism to open/close. Perhaps my only grumble is:a) It keeps my drinks too hot for too long! Not a valid grumble, I agree...b) Lid can be a little difficult to screw off. I have to remember to open the spout when screwing the lid on/off as this helps break the vacuum seal.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 October 2020Works very well, but with a few niggles.Compared to other cups I’ve used this keeps drinks hotter / colder for longer. It has a nice solid feel and due to the tapered body fits well in a cup holder. My only issues are the rubber seals on the lid, if these move / twist whilst cleaning and you don’t notice, it won’t seal right and will leak. Once sealed properly however it holds liquid with no issues.I have two of these and both of these feel different when you open the dispenser - one is super clicky and positive, the other is vague and hard to tell if it’s open or closed right. The other issue is the lid can be a pain to unscrew, sometimes it seems to seal itself so tight it’s difficult to unscrew, the rim is so smooth a little knurled / scored rim to help grip the lid would help with this loads. All in all a great product, works well but with a few minor mods could be so much better.Recommended but be methodical in making sure it seals correctly with those rubber seals after cleaning to avoid any leaking.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 October 2020Worth every penny if you want to keep your drink hot!I’ve tried many travel cups for work but have never found one that kept my coffee hot for a long period of time. I thought I’d spend an extra few pounds and try this one.Although it recommends to warm the cup up first I thought I’d put it to the test... I put my coffee with milk in the mug without heating it up at 5.30am, it was still hot (not red hot) but hot at 10am! On the way to work (10 minutes later) I had my first drink thinking it would be fine to take a sip...I burnt my top lip! (Not badly...just be cautious when you take your first drink!)I liked the fact that it remained cold completely on the outside, it didn’t even feel warm which made me even more confident my coffee would stay hot, other travel cups I’ve had have lost heat through the walls of the cup, great for warming your hands but no good if you want a hot drink! It looks great the colour is lovely, it fits in my car cup holder and I haven’t found it to leak, you must make sure you turn the button on the top to close it or it would leak, I even laid it on my passenger seat locked and on its side and it was fine. It comes apart easy enough to give it a proper wash and allow it to dry.Overall if you want to keep your drink hot buy one of these, it’s definitely worth it!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 January 2021Makes me feel Manly. So far so leakproof. I love the copper colour- it looks like an artillery shell which makes me feel manly.I use it for hot coffee and cold fizzy lemon water.Very pleased with my purchase. It is tricky to take apart and clean and it took me a while on the first go to put it back together. That said, it is functional and beautiful. I take it everywhere. It is actually my best friend at the moment (apart from my beautiful wife ❤️).
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 February 2021Good product my review is broken down into leakproof, warmth and cleaningSo over all a great product but it did loose some stars. I’ll break this review into the sections stared.Leakproof: Yes perfectly leak proof, however I found that the twist lock can be knocked pretty easily. Also, and this is also related to the cleaning of the product. If you put the washer the wrong way round it doesn’t matter if the latch is closed or not it will leak.Warmth: incredible! I have made cups of coffee in the morning and at the end of the day is still hot enough to enjoy, even scold so be careful.Cleaning: this is easy enough to do, but because the mechanism is so intricate I can imagine grime and coffee particles getting into small places over time. Also linking back to the leak proof section make sure you put everything back the right way round, the washer is not reversible and will result in the leak proof not working.Briefly style and design is great. Ergonomically it fits in my hand nicely and the base is about the same as any coffee cup so it stands stable.Hope this helps.

- Is thermos mug allowed in carry on luggage in an airplaneIt's your lucky day. I work in aviation security central processing (TSA to Americans). One of my tasks is to remove oversized liquids. You can take this through security - as long as it is EMPTY. Your bag may be stopped to check that the mug is indeed empty...
