- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 June 2021Tricky installationThis is a really great tap. Once installed works brilliantly. BUT.....When installing the tap, from underneath the sink or worktop, you have to push the pipes through the bottom nut, the washers, the spacer, then screw them into the tap base as the flex hose nuts only fit through them one way. This makes fitting the tap difficult if the sink is in situ, or if you're fitting it to the worktop. The second fitting problem is that the flex hose nuts are fixed, which means that when you tighten the hoses onto a fitting or isolator, as you tighten the hose it twirls around and will want to undo itself from the tap body. Therefore, I recommend that you turn the hose anti-clockwise a turn or so before finally tightening, or tighten it to a fitting first then the other side of the fitting to the main pipework. If not over time the pipe might leak from the tap end!! Once fitted it's fine, looks great and works really well.

The faucet has rubbery taste is that after you have installed the new plastic hose well, you turn on the water outlet switch before the hose glue drys, causing the residual hose glue on each joint being washed away and accumulating on the shower faucet. Because the water pressure is big enough, the faucet will not be blocked. Water can still be discharged normally, but the non-drying hose glue which is accumulated on the faucet will be washed out each time you turn on the faucet. This problem will last for a long time. What you need to is to remove the faucet showerhead, and then open the valve to the maximum, flush the remaining hose glue out, and then clean the shower head carefully to remove the adhering hose glue residue. see less
