I like the waterfall feature and that due to water pressure hot and cold very decent in filling a basin.The cold however now tastes funny compared to previous tap. Anyone else experience this? Is this just due to it being new?UPDATE: Water has resumed tasting fine. Any disturbance in cold water pipe work can result in any materials used previously with fittings or any crud being dislodged. Flush through repeatedly. Can also say that cold flow has the tap running really loudly, so a flow pressure reducer may have to be fitted to reduce noise.

Very happy with my purchase and my plumber did not mention any problems with fitting it.

There is, however, a major problem with the backnut supplied. It’s 33mm. Tap spanners, box spanners and all of the monoblock taps I have ever installed (and that’s a lot) are 32mm. The dodgy instructions supplied suggest tightening it by hand and then turning the tap 90 degrees - nope, doesn’t work. Finished up having to remove the sink and waste to use an adjustable spanner, then refit the lot.

Ok I could manage till i replace the dishwasher but then the tap broke. It cost £270 for the chrome original. So I used Amazon to look for a replacement. Thankfully others leave reviews so it's really helpful when choosing. Thanks to everyone I wasn't disappointed. It's quite heavy. Very stylish and lovely waterfall on it. I'm a really happy. I put down high for fitting but i did use a friend whose a plumber. However he said it came with all the right items. He simply turned water off. Undid old connections and swopped it over. I would recommend this to anyone.

We needed one that had a wide base and was struggling to find one in our local hardware store. Quick look on here and we came across this one.Checked the base measurements and it suited our needs. My partner is a plumber so found the installation easy and straight forward. It’s a nice tap and seems more powerful than our last one.

The handle must be opened barely in order to avoid splashing everywhere as the spout has no aerator and water falls like a cascade. My only gripe and it’s a tiny one is that it takes a long time to stop dripping once it’s closed off. It does stop so no leaks just the design of the spout means it takes a wile to empty out the last few drops. I’d certainly recommend it.
