HAPILIFE KITCHEN SINK TAPS MIXER SOLID BRASS CHROME FINISH

Customer Review

• ★★★★★★★★★★ Good tap easy install
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 April 2020
Delivered fast. Easy to install. Sturdy. I like the waterfall feature and that due to water pressure hot and cold very decent in filling a basin. The cold however now tastes funny compared to previous tap. Anyone else experience this? Is this just due to it being new?UPDATE: Water has resumed tasting fine. Any disturbance in cold water pipe work can result in any materials used previously with fittings or any crud being dislodged. Flush through repeatedly. Can also say that cold flow has the tap running really loudly, so a flow pressure reducer may have to be fitted to reduce noise.

• ★★★★★★★★★★ Fantastic Tap for the Price
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 September 2018
An amazingly attractive tap for the price. It arrived well packaged and is quite heavy. I was almost afraid to open it as I was afraid a tap for that price would be inferior quality but I was delighted to see it actually surpassed others I had looked at in stores for 5 times the price. Very happy with my purchase and my plumber did not mention any problems with fitting it.

• ★★★★★★★★★★ Nuts
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 October 2019
Once installed the tap is ok. It’s a tap and it does what you would expect from a tap. There is, however, a major problem with the backnut supplied. It’s 33mm. Tap spanners, box spanners and all of the monoblock taps I have ever installed (and that’s a lot) are 32mm. The dodgy instructions supplied suggest tightening it by hand and then turning the tap 90 degrees - nope, doesn’t work. Finished up having to remove the sink and waste to use an adjustable spanner, then refit the lot.

• ★★★★★★★★★★ Better than my original £270 tap
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 April 2019
I bought a complete kitchen from Howden 4 years ago. This month every intergrated item broke. Ok I could manage till i replace the dishwasher but then the tap broke. It cost £270 for the chrome original. So I used Amazon to look for a replacement. Thankfully others leave reviews so it's really helpful when choosing. Thanks to everyone I wasn't disappointed. It's quite heavy. Very stylish and lovely waterfall on it. I'm a really happy. I put down high for fitting but i did use a friend whose a plumber. However he said it came with all the right items. He simply turned water off. Undid old connections and swopped it over. I would recommend this to anyone.

• ★★★★★★★★★★ Nice new tap

After turning my old tap on and it literally coming off In my hand ? we needed a new one. We needed one that had a wide base and was struggling to find one in our local hardware store. Quick look on here and we came across this one.Checked the base measurements and it suited our needs. My partner is a plumber so found the installation easy and straight forward. It’s a nice tap and seems more powerful than our last one.

• ★★★★★★★★★★ not the best option
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 June 2021
The product is OK in general. Nice look and good materials, but when used, the water splashes out without control. The handle must be opened barely in order to avoid splashing everywhere as the spout has no aerator and water falls like a cascade. Unfortunately we realized that after installing the product and there is no chance to send it back for a refund.

• ★★★★★★★★★★ Great tap but noisy!

Our new kitchen tap. Works as you'd expect, that is, very well. The only downside is the noise as water runs through the tap. We're having to keep the water pressure low to keep the noise level down.

• ★★★★★★★★★★ Great value with a long drip
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 April 2020
Great looking tap and easy to install even in solid wood work surfaces. My only gripe and it’s a tiny one is that it takes a long time to stop dripping once it’s closed off. It does stop so no leaks just the design of the spout means it takes a wile to empty out the last few drops. I’d certainly recommend it.

• ★★★★★★★★★★ Check distance from hole in sink to wall
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 15 March 2021
Looks good when installed. Be aware you need at least 7 cms from hole in sink to wall. Less than this and the Tap will hit wall and not open fully

• ★★★★★★★★★★ Good looking
