She loves the fact they are slightly smaller than normal mugs so not only is the quantity of tea less to hold but the weight of the mug itself is very light. She loves the fact she doesn't have to worry about dropping and breaking these. She also loves the bright colours.

We often go for long walks and of course just recently have taken to doing more picnics due to Covid. It has however been cold for months and months so lots of flasks of hot drinks have been necessary.I usually kept plastic mugs in my rucksack but with hot drinks could taste the plastic. I was also a little concerned when I read that some plastics leach chemicals, as can bamboo and melamine. Ceramics was too liable to break so back to the old fashioned enamel seemed the answer. I was not disappointed and they certainly don’t look old fashioned- quite stylish in fact. You also know whose mug is whose when it comes to a refill. With handles you don’t get burnt hands either. They have the advantage that I can easily recognise these cups and keep them away from the rest of the family - an important point in these covid-19 infested times - and also, because each cup has a different colour, the people using them can identify the cup allocated to them after putting it down and later coming back to it.

Far too thick to get for mouth round it. I’ve had to buy new mugs for my caravan as that mouth thickness is annoying and doesn’t make for comfortable drinking from the cup. It could have been finished better. Will keep them for grandchildren use instead

So it’s such a shame to say that they were not all different colours, I am missing a blue one. It’s was replaced with another of an alternative colour, so could be worse. It’s seems a silly thing to complain about but it’s the reason I liked this set in the first place. If they had sent the colours in the picture it would be 5 stars instead. Shame really.

I have no concerns about the durability of these mugs. They look like they can take a right battering.Small grumbles, just a tad smaller than a normal mug so I need to refill more often. Tea stains a tad hard to remove but they do come off. And the cup gets so hot you need to be careful where you place it.

They seem to be indestructible too, and so far they have taken the dishwasher without problems.Now the issue I didn't think about when I purchased them is that they're made of metal thus you cannot put them in the microwave. I'll keep them anyway, but I don't know if I would have bought them if I had thought about that first.

These are really tuff and although they do seem to dent (and had a few dents upon arrival) they don't break! She tried using a plastic cup, but it didn't keep her drink warm, whereas these do. The bright colours are lovely and they look great!

You need to wear gloves to be able to hold the handle, but other than that, they are perfect for the job. Love the fact that you can put your mug down on the bbq between sips to keep it hot for longer.

- Can this be heated in an ovenIt’s enamel - if you put hot drinks in it ergo you can put these in the oven - but NOT a microwave oven if in doubt google it!!

Although I've not used mine on an open flame myself I've used other enamel pots that way so I'd be confident placing them on, say, a BBQ keeping a cup of tea warm (because I am the kind of weirdo that drinks tea at a BBQ). My other enamel items sometimes get discoloured or stained around the outside base when used on direct heat I'd expect these to be similarly affected. Amazon sells this small camping kettle (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Chihee-Stainless-Lightweight-Teakettle-Backpacking/dp/B07CXM5C68?ref_=fsclp_pl_dp_13). I carry one for use on an open flame and I can recommend it - it takes up very little space a small cup and tea/coffee-making stuff fit inside - it's a better bet for use on a direct flame, in my view. see less
- Can they be used in the microwave?I don’t think so. I believe they are enamelled metal. I never put any metal except the rack designed for use in a microwave and supplied with it.
