- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 February 2021DELIVERY MEN DIDN'T SPEAK ENGLISHAnd they didn't, or pretended not to understand me. I was very pleased that they unpacked and assembled the chair but indicated they couldn't attach the front wheels. They had managed the back ones and I tried to point out that the front ones attached in the same way but they just shook their heads. So I had to remove the front ones to level the chair, they were only finger tight anyway, the hardest thing was tipping the chair to do it. I had to tell one of them (by hand signals) that he was trying to put the wings on upside down, he tried to wave me off and if only I could have understood his language!!!I sleep in my chair so it has to adjust to suit me. The chair is ok, beautiful fabric, just, the leg rest doesn't fully level out, I fixed this by attaching a thin pillow to the leg rest. It was somewhat firm, so I added a mattress topper, the size you buy for a cot. This has helped but I might need another to put on top of this one soon. The wooden ends to the arms are a great boon, I can pull myself forward to exit the chair, necessary even with the lift. the rise height is too much for my height, 5ft 1", so not a problem for someone taller but the benefit for me is my feet don't dangle over the end of the leg rest when reclined. All in all, an okay chair for the price and I would recommend it.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 November 2020Comfortable, affordable and compact.I purchased this product because the riser/recliner I had been using took up a lot of space. This one is much more compact, fits into my living room better and was about a fifth of the price. I particularly like the dual motor, meaning I can adjust the footrest and backrest separately.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 February 2021Comfortable and quality item.Bought for my mum who has very bad arthurites and she sleeps in this without and issue. I could have paid at least double from miller care mobility for less quality I believe. easy to use and robust the team who delivered it assembled it and showed me how to operate it, they cleared up after themselves. 100% happy with the chair and the customer service.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 25 February 20165*****I bought this for my father who has chronic back problems and I can honestly say it has been worth every penny. He had tried numerous cheaper chair's without much luck so we took the plunge on this and it really is good for lifting him up out of the chair and taking the strain of his back. It also has the added bonus of not looking like a hospital chair.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 October 2013Good looking, comfortable and very versatile, can't get the wife out of it. You have to wait to have play with it.The chair was for my wife, who recently broke her hip. Without it she would have been in hospital another few weeks. She really loves it. It's comfortable and being able to raise her legs helps no end with her swollen feet. It's certainly changed her outlook on life. Six weeks in bed did not help her depression, now she is getting round with her walker then straight back to the comfort of her chair.should have got one years ago.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 April 2021Not for the petiteIdeal for big people, a big chair at big money. The wooden knuckles save wear on the fabric. The charging port in the remote perfect for overnight changing.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 February 2016Brilliant!!Bought this for my elderly mother in law, she was finding it increasingly difficult to get up from conventional furniture due to arthritic knees, only took a few minutes to master the remote control and what a difference she has already found. Brilliant !!!!

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 December 2016Fully recommendedBought this for my mother. She had riser recliners before but struggled holding onto the arms when getting on and off as there was nothing to grip. The wooden "handles" are brilliant and give her so much confidence :)The chair actually lifts higher than any previous chair she had had too.Delivery was within a few days too!I would fully recommend

- Do you need to leave room behind for the backrest to recline and how much is the user weightIt needs very little room behind, almost none to recline. I am 13 stone (182lb) and it has no problem at all, I am really pleased with both the chairs I bought.
