MORRIS LIVING EXMOUTH FABRIC SWIVEL RECLINER MASSAGE CHAIR

Customer Review

• ★★★★★★★★★★ Fairly comfortable, But

Comfortable, the massage works reasonably well. Would be better if stool height could be altered as well I find it a little low.Unsure of covering material and filling quality, feels a bit stiff and strange. You can lock it's seating position but when you want to get out or sit again it's awkward, and you can't reach the lock screw from a seated position. So are you supposed to leave it loose which jumps and slides at every movement or lock it and strain the seat action when you move in or out of it?Answers please.

Initially I thought this was great and it was , while it lasted but the balance eventually went so that it would actually tip over and became dangerous - I had to warn guests not to sit in it. I regularly maintained the bolts holding it together and even recently took it apart and re-assembled it but something 'had gone in it' so it just would not balance safely. I skipped it yesterday. By the way I am not an obese person (12 stone 5) and didn't even use the massage facility so all it received was regular usage. Quite pricey mistake for something that only lasted me just over two years.

• ★★★★★★★★★★ Comfy but faulty after one hour
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 March 2016
I liked the chair very comfortable but like Mrs Morrison the vibration mechanism is faulty after only 1 hour. Sometimes the buttons work and sometimes they don.t and if they do and you turn it off after 30 secs the chair turns back on again by itself. I will try a replacement because it is comfortable but will want a refund if the same thing happens again.

• ★★★★★★★★★★ The Exmouth - Fabric Massage swivel Recliner.

Bought this chair for the wife, it arrived in a large box .delved into the box and got all the bits and pieces out. This is one of the only self build pieces of furniture, that I have receive. That the fittings included an extra nut, bolt , washer.in a blister pack. It took me about two hours to assemble that was with phone and door bell interruptions. The wife loves the chair, as do each of our family when they visit.. I have even been allowed the use of it and felt much more relaxed afterwards. Dealer and the carrier both gave great service would recommend them to anyone. Thank you.

Good value for the money and is very comfortable although I was not aware that it had to be almost totally assembled but it was strait foward to do and all parts fitted well.

• ★★★★★★★★★★ A substantial piece of furniture.

I liked the product very much. However the fixing plates that secure the footstool to the feet were too broad for this model.i contacted Morris Living who arranged for the manufacturer to send out new fixing plates. They arrived within a couple of days. Unfortunately they were the same size as the original fixing plates. I then contacted the manufacturer direct and within a couple of days I received another set .Again they were to broad to fit . I therefore purchase a hacksaw and cut the fittings to size.

• ★★★★★★★★★★ Prompt delivery and a massage chair that is great value for money

This product was delivered promptly, well packaged and in good condition. It has to be put together but instructions are clear. It is very good value for money. Very comfortable, fully adjustable and the massage facility works well. It also looks smart and the fabric looks as though it will be hard-wearing.

Lovely chairs, I love the way you can swivel round to different positions to see what's going on, or speak to someone etc. I didn't buy the chairs for the massage facility, although I do try it from time to time, quite pleasant. The best thing was, as a 69 year old woman I managed to assemble 2 chairs almost unaided (just a little help with the first one from a (girl) friend.)

This recliner not does have good lumbar support, I feel a backache after sitting in it for more than 45 minutes or so. Also, the massage function is not much more than a bunch of vibration motors.
