Quality Raw Materials
The raw ingredients sand, ash and lime are in the kiln until molten, then gathered, shaped and blown by the glassblower. Occasionally during this process, small air bubbles get trapped and may appear within the finished object. This is a natural characteristic of the handmade process and makes each piece unique.

Glassblowers work in teams and each person is responsible for a specific element of the product, training for years to perfect their skills. I like that they don't have a narrow stem, it makes them seem less likely to be knocked over. They arrived the day after ordering, unfortunately the base of one was broken. The box they were in was inside a larger box with nothing to stop it from moving around. Arranging a return was easy, which I was relieved at as this is my first return ever to Amazon. The replacement glasses arrived the next day, before the first set had even been picked up. This time there was more padding and my beautiful glasses arrived in pristine condition.

These will be ideal if you're sharing amongst a larger group and want to just charge the glasses. Dining and drinking for two gets a bit annoying to refil after every sip almost.

- Are they dishwasher proofI have these glasses. They are lovely but there is no way I would risk putting them in the dishwasher because of their very delicate shape. I reserve them for 'best' and they need careful handwashing and even more careful drying.
