- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 4 August 2020Just the Job!Bought this electric radiator for my study as I couldn't install a conventional radiator where I wanted it. This was a much cheaper option than having my plumbing reconfigured, especially as the room is not in constant use. Took me ten minutes to wall mount it (and I am no handy person!). I didn't programme it as it is far easier for me to just switch it on when the room is in use. Heated the room very efficiently and looks very smart. I'm also surprised how cheap it is to run, I have a smart meter so could see that heating the room to 24 degrees for 6 hours cost around 40p. Very pleased!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 June 2020Amazing heaterAbsolutely fantastic little heater. I have tried so many for my salon and was recommended this. Couldn't fault it heats up a very large area in no time at all. Will be fantastic in mybsalon come the winter. Timer easy to set up can safely leave it to come on in mornings now and off at night so will save me some returning journeys back to work where I forgot to put heating off. Will recommend to anyone looking for a sturdy reliable heater
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 August 2020great heaterNice and lightweight and easy to fix to the wall. The heat output is great and warms the room in seconds. Its worth noting that the front of the heater gets very very hot so keep this in mind
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 April 2020Nice wee heaterArrived a couple of days earlier than expected. All in good condition. The 2 heaters were both mounted on the walls & working within minutes. I prefer not to use the timer as rooms are not used at regular times. However, despite all the moans on previous reviews, it was quick and easy to set up with the instructions in surprisingly good english giving plenty of examples. I will admit the button beeping is irritating but only has to be done once!Heater throws out plenty of heat, i think 2kw maybe a little much for the rooms the 2 heaters are in. Better too hot than too cold though eh? A few clicks as it heats up but is otherwise silent. The blue LED is a tad bright but nothing a piece of insulating tape can’t sort.Neat little heater, looks nice, good value too.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 September 2020Works as a heater, but ease of use?As a heater it seems to be great, although we have winter approaching so I may amend that statement in six months time. However ease of use is my primary concern, and the instructions are not clear about some aspects. For example there is a WO light (window open), however there is nothing in the instruction booklet that tells you what it does, i.e. does it turn off the heater? Or is it just a flashing warning light? But my overriding reservation is the time settings for 'automatic' mode. You can set four timer settings for each day, which is great, but you have to enter those settings for every single day, i.e. there's no option to have standard settings for all week, or weekends, or weekdays. In other words, you potentially have to enter 28 settings, many of which would be repeats of other days. My preference would have been to have the same settings for every day of the week, but I have to enter each setting 7 times. If you then have an issue with a power cut or someone accidentally turning off the power at the plug socket, then you may well have to do it all over again (I'm assuming there's no long term memory - the instructions don't tell you).I also used manual mode, which means you turn it on and then enter the time you want it to turn off, but when I came back to it several hours later it was still running. Maybe I did something wrong, but first impressions aren't good. Finally, how economical is it? I'll have to report back next springtime.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 November 2020DO NOT BUY IF YOU WANT A HEATER THAT IS EASY TO USE WITH GOOD LEVEL OF HEAT OUTPUTThe heater arrived near the end of Summer and has only really been tested over the last few weeks as it has turned colder. Initially it seems to work, however like everyone else mentions the timer function and instructions are not clear. In manual mode setting a optimum temperature does not seem to work , my heater starts off with an initial temperature of 15c and having followed the instructions to set an optimum temperature of 35c it still lingers around 19c . There does not seem to be any way to increase the heat output manually, and the up and down buttons display a higher temperature which when you press ok flashes but then returns to its current temperature and the increase is so slow that even after an houe at high it seems only to have increased a few degrees.I would not purchase again
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 October 2020Great little fire 100% from meWow fantastic fires I'm buying 2 more when in stock really happy would recommend to anyone most fires click when they hit the temp these don't... silent great easy to use good looking..... I had 2 dimplex storage heaters fitted 1500 pound crap...I'm taking them out...... These little fire do the job 100 better
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 31 March 2020DON'T BUY THIS IF YOU NEED TO USE THE AUTOMATIC TIMERThis is a nice heater, with OK performance as far as heat output is concerned (and the thermostat seems to work OK). However, I've been unable to set the day and time successfully! The instructions are unclear (probably written by someone with English as a second (or third!) language. If you just want a heater you can switch on and off manually, it's fine - but why pay for an automatic timer (especially one that's difficult to use)?
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 October 2020Complex Instructions !I purchased this heater for my small bathroom based on the reviews I had read. I normally can get to grips with programming instructions, but these had me beat! I had to ask a friend who is a 'techi-wizard' and he too was foxed. He did manage to get the date and time programmed but, to this day, the temperature setting is very much hit and miss. However, (and certainly not due to these instructions) he has established and set a reasonable heat. At one point, we did think that the heater was faulty (and indeed it just might be!) but as I had paid for an electrician to fix it to the wall for me, it would have been an expensive purchase to have had to return it.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 15 May 2019better than expectedthis item went into my back bedroom and like the one in my living room [but smaller] it is just what the doctor ordered. I I could not be happier it works so well.
