  Nice, but let down by cheap plastic

  Although these look really nice, they’re really let down by the cheap plastic back plates. If the back plate was metal, the lamps wouldn’t tilt downwards at an angle. They’re supposed to be flush strait to the wall. Disappointing, but pretty typical of most penny pinching manufacturers these days.

Very easy to fit. I bought Cool White bulbs to go in and the effect is stunning. They actually give out far more light than I thought they would.Very waterproof with the 'O' Rings and sealed glass. Don't fit in cold weather, not good on the fingers

  Waste of money

  Look nice and reasonably well built but upon closer inspection not as durable as you would expect. The lights did not work and the fitting panel and wiring is very tight so it’s difficult to get a reassuring fit once all the wires are in place.Personally I would avoid and pay a little extra to get something more user friendly.

  Great light if you want to fit it on a Brick Wall

  This is a good product if you have a brick wall you are fitting it to. In my case I wanted to install it on the front of a Log Cabin (no brick wall). It only allows you to install the mains cable through the back of the fitting (not through the top of the fitting). As I had my wires coming down the outside wall of the log cabin, This meant that I had to cut a slot for the wire to go into in the top/back of the fitting, or the fitting would never sit flush to the wall. In my case this light was going to be under the log cabin's porch, so no problem with it allowing water in, but if this had been put on a wall directly in contact to the elements, then it wouldn't have been waterproof anymore after me cutting a wire slot.

  Brilliant lights that look good

  Really nice lights which are electrician fitted quite easilyWe went for the black ones as there were a few reviews on the Chrome ones to say how quickly rust showed up on themThey are used as outdoor lights so expect some weathering to them but hopefully the black will disguise this for as long as possibleNice amount of light from them and had lots of compliments mainly due to the fact that they are uplighters as well as downlighters. Nice effect

  Cheap plastic mounting backplate

  These lights do look really nice, but are a nightmare to fit cable from anything other than behind.If like me you needed to run the cable surface mounted, then you have to drill through the bottom of the metal casing and then chamfer the metal casing to stop any rubbing on the wire.The item quality is really good, apart from the horrible plastic back mounting plate.When screwing the back plate onto the wall, be careful it doesn't warp out of shape when you tighten the screws up.The lights once up do really look nice, and do look durable.I fitted one into brick, and the other into render. The side with render didn't warp as much as i initially thought it would, but still with it being plastic it did warp slightly.Rather than just back entry, I do think they should have some form of adapter that allows for bottom entry rather than having to drill through the metal casing.All in all I am impressed with these lights for the price.

  Nice lights

  I love the lights. They look great on the house and the house now looks lovely at night instead of just being pitch black. The lights were easy to install but they were easy to break also. Out of 4 that I installed, I had trouble with one. One of the supplied fixing screws broke and I had to drill it out of the wall. Then, I over tightened the screw slightly and the plastic casing cracked. Then once it was on, it wasn’t properly straight, so I give it a little twist to see if it would budge a bit and broke the casing around the bolt so the light would come away from the back fixing. I was a lot less heavy handed with the remaining lights. Would have been nice if the fixing plate was metal like the main casing instead of brittle plastic. All of these lights could be ripped off the wall with minimal effort.But, don’t want to complain because they were low cost and look great. As good as should be expected for the price. I would buy more.

  BE CAREFUL BEFORE YOU PURCHASE NOT SUITABLE FOR ALL OUTSIDE SCENARIOS!

  I purchased these lights to place onto Concrete posts in the Garden. However when the electrician arrived he advised me that these lights were unsuitable as they needed to be drilled through the rear of the post (this would result in wires on our neighbours side of fence). These lights do not have any side access. I returned the lights and received a refund but the company insisted that I pay the return postage of £9.99 (non-refundable).I contacted the company who state that although they say the lights are for the outside, they are not suitable for all outside areas. They also stated that I should have consulted an electrician before purchasing them, which I was unable to do as the electrician was part of a landscape team and we had not previously met. This delayed the job being finished and still waiting to rearrange, plus additional costs.I feel the company's description should be clearer and clarify that these need to be fitted from the rear! I challenged this with the company a number of times but to no avail....ie it was not their fault that they were incompatible for my use and they were not faulty. (This I could not test as they were never wired!!)The customer service is appalling. So, please be aware that the postage charges are expensive and I would therefore advise to purchase from a company on Amazon where it states "free delivery and free returns" so that if there are any issues the postage will be free!

Good looking item easy to install but the plastic back plate is a bit fragile so you need to treat it carefully. The actual light body is metal and feels sturdy. I've added some wifi GU10 bulbs so I can mix colours if needed and control it all with Alexa. Ordered 3 lights, 1 arrived Tuesday and 2 on Wednesday?
