  Great for the garden

  The pack of four perfect to out in the garden. Well packed and bright especially with the LED on the sides. The motion detection sensor very good and pickup and quickly lights up.The good thing about it is that there's three modes, including a dim light at night which brightens up when motion is detected rather than pitch darkness. Overall, good value for money and work really effectively even on a dull day - obviously depending which mode is used will affect battery life - on mode two the light went out at 5.30am due to sunrise and so didn't deplete the battery.

  I will explain my review. Brightness 5 star, motion 5 star and fitting 5 star. Unfortunately, reliability isn't a rating. As it would be 0/1. They are amazing when they work. However we cannot guarantee that they come on at all. During bright days they charge, and by night some of them come on for some time. Flip a coin and guess which. We have 8 units. We have had none, through to 8 working. Randomly since the 2nd week. I've given them a good chance, and I can only assume the issue is the build quality, wiring or battery (probably battery charging specifically). Will be returning and unfortunately paying more for reliability. As why have lights if they just don't work.

  WOW are these bright

  Just put them up in their new home (after charging for 2 days in the default off position), positioned down my fence running along side my driveway and of the three makes I have purchased in the last two weeks, these are by a long way the Brightest. I will definitely be buying more of these to illuminate more of the driveway (70 metres long) and other areas. An added bonus is the on/off button is on the front as opposed to the others that are on the back.I strongly recommend these to everyone..... As to their longevity, I will report back if they stop working but initial thoughts are good.

An excellent set of four LED security lights. I'm really pleased with the build quality and the functionality of these lights and very impressed that you get four of them for such a low price. I'd looked in the local DIY store and they were charging the same price for one. The lights are really easy to install and the fittings for each one is included. For each light you get two screws and two raw plugs. The lights do not require wiring or any mains power electricity so you can place them easily where ever you desire. Just make sure you place them in an area that receives enough light. The lights have three different modes that are selected each time you press the button on the front. There is the option for a strong light, a weaker light or a constant light. The darkness and motion detection work perfectly and they are an ideal security solution. Really pleased with them and they look and work perfectly on my allotment.

  Great : price, size, brightness, seller

  First of all I had low expectations with such a low price for 4 lights. I already spent much more on 2 bigger lights recently which were in deal of the day. However, these may be smaller but seem to outshine the bigger ones...guess size isn't everything!Construction wise, I'm to be convinced how they will stand up to winter but they don't seem so protected against water ingress as the set I got 2 years ago that are now flailing due to water damage...but they seem to fail as water got in but couldn't get out, these might thus be better for drainage... time will tell so not going to mark down for that.So the lights are inexpensive, small, very bright and not too intrusive, however the supplier also deserves a mention. One of the lights was missing a cover for the sensor. So I contacted them (sending photo of proof) via the email they send prior to delivery in case of any issues and they responded very quickly and resolved the issue by sending replacement without any hassle (as Amazon would probably ask to send back and reorder). Very impressive customer service, best I've had outwith Amazon's own. Would highly recommend product and especially the seller ZFIT&888.

  Super bright lights

  These little solar lights far exceeded my expectations! They are extremely bright! They have three different modes, always on high bright, always on low and when motion is sensed they switch to bright or always off and full bright when motion is sensed. I put them on our patio walls. I enjoy having them on full bright and switch to motion when we don't use the patio. Don't know how long they are going for, but never went off while we were in the garden at night. I am very pleased with them and love the look they have created in my garden! They are also quite small which is nice because it opens up the possibilities of where you can put them! I definitely recommend them!

  Excellent brightness in summer, poor winter battery

  Pleasant surprise, these are very bright compared to my older ones. Motion detection works nicely and has 2 settings for how long you want the light to stay on for. I use the lower setting as don’t need the light staying on for long once I’ve passed by.The shape/style of the light means more brightness is spread around rather than just towards one direction. Haven’t used it long enough to see how long battery lasts during gloomy winter but so far it’s giving good brightness with little sunlight.I’ve put some clear silicone across the solar panel joints as I’ve seen with some others that water does enter with heavy rain and can make the light useless. Maybe it’s not necessary here but won’t risk it.Well worth the £12-13 I’ve paid for the pack of 4, although I just needed two!UPDATE: 1 month into winter and the light hardly charges up. Due to the number of led lights, charge seems to completely go flat after lighting up just few times. I’ve had slightly smaller solar lights before and they’ve worked far better even during winter. This seems very poor for the British winter months!

  Great value solar lights

  This item arrived safe and well packaged.The box contained 4 lights (with 100 individual LED bulbs in each), instructions and a bag with screws/wall plugs.The button cycles the light between the 3 settings. Each setting is confirmed by the relevant number of light flashes.The motion sensor seems to be set just right, responding to people in the near vicinity.The dusk sensor is also set very well too. The lights switch on right when they are needed.When these lights are switched on they really are super bright! A serious amount of light from something being charged purely by sunshine!!These can easily replace wired security lights around your property.I'm glad to have these added to my outdoor security set up as I expand my garden with additional growing areas. Having light from multiple sources in the garden is ideal for making full use of the garden, day and night.I highly recommend this item.

  Impressively bright

  Some solar lights are on the weedy side, but these give out an impressively bright light, clear lighting the area around them. I've only used them so far in summer, so they've had plenty of chance to charge - I don't know how long the charge from a miserable winter's days sunlight will last.There are three settings, full on all the time, faintly on but brightening when the sensor detects someone and off unless the sensor detects someone. I prefer them in that final setting as I don't particularly want the garden floodlit all the time, but they are really useful when someone approaches the house as they come on when the person is a good distance - at least 10 yards - away, so they're a great help for safely getting through the garden at light.Only two small issues. They are blue-white rather than warm white - I think they would look a little better as warm white. And I've had to leave one turned off as it was being triggered by something moving in the wind - either a vine or the cover on a barbecue.But they remain an impressively bright addition to the garden.

  Bright solar powered security lights

  I bought these as a replacement for a cheap and cheerful similar product which had stopped working. These are slightly smaller to my previous units but give out a much brighter white light with a good wide coverage. I have two hanging off the guttering on my conservatory (using Christmas lights gutter hooks) and have screwed one to my fence by my gate. They are very easy to install and the hardest part was making sure I chose the correct function (they have 3 light modes which are selected by pushing a button) as obviously I had to wait until it was dark to try them out! Very happy with my purchase and would happily recommend them as a non-wired security light.
