The sensor and light's covers a good distance(most all my garden! , see in pictures). Best thing is no wiring involved. Anyone can fit it !!! I have tried louds of different solar lights and it's the best solar sensor light in the market right now !!!The lights are bright and motion detection works really well.

Just when I need them coming into the dark long nights. Defo one of my better buys on Amazon.Very Important UPDATE: 28/11/2019Were I live at the moment, it has been reported that oil from tanks has been stolen but not ours thank god and I am starting to wonder is it because of these lights. Im just glad I got them even thought it will not stop thieves but it just might put them off.I have another set of these solar lights only a slightly different model which has been going for just over a year now and they haven't faulted. So I seen these two going at a discounted rate on Amazon and I thought well the last two are still going and for £15 I would go again as I need a tad more light coming into the winter as the nights draws in and with more and more new houses being built around me and that added security is handy.Straight out of the box they worked but the only draw back for me these days the instructions are getting smaller and smaller to read, so rather than put photo`s of the lights on review that everyone else has, I would enlarge the instruction booklet. - Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 May 2019Super bright solar powered lights!Wow these really are a 5 star product.First off let me say I was looking for some outside lighting for the path that runs alongside my house which leads to the back gate as it is almost impossible to see at night where you are walking.I had a read up and decided that solar powered lights sounded like the best bet as I didn’t want to run my electricity bill up further nor have to deal with wires.I came across this listing and read some of the reviews and decided these looked really good, however, you can never be sure exactly how good something will work for you. But these were super easy to install (2 screws for each light), they have worked from the first night of being up, and the lights are super bright and light up my pathway brilliantly. Also the motion detection is spot on, they even picked up a low flying bat!All in all superb outdoor lights at a great price.

I needed something that was so easy to install and something I would not have to worry my parents with causing extra electrity bills.Once up you don’t have to worry about fiddle bits and it’s a motion detector . It has its own rechargeable battery that you don’t have to worry about and the best thing if you have problems you have a support number to ring. Surprising even my parents like it

I didn’t use the screws to put this on the wall I used no more nails as it was much easier.When I put the lights up they stayed up easily and have been working really well throughout all different types of weather.The glue held it up very well. There is a very bright light which is lovely and long so you get maximum Coverage below. The charge lasts for a long time and the solar panel is nice and sensitive so when it’s twilight I also get a good level of brightness.The sensor is great so the light doesn’t stay on unless needed which makes the charge let for longer. This also ensures that the house is lovely and secure due to the extra light I get which now is all around the house.I have bought a few more sets of these lights since as I was so impressed with the first set. Even on a dull winters day the solar panels still generate enough power to keep the light sensors working throughout the night.

I'm hoping they will deter thieves of the human and animal kind.They were easy to install straight out of the box. Because they are solar powered they needed no wiring.They are very bright and light up a large area.They react well to motion which will preserve the life of the batteries..and keep the neighbours quiet.Excellent value for money!

He started to use the lights one at entrance to house door, and second light on back of door to garden. Now the house is more secure.Waterproof and heatproof, very easy to mount them on the walls or fences, no wires or cables and can be placed at any place you needed. Was easy to fix, just 2 screws and best of all it does not cost money. He was so happy with these lamps, good quality and value for the money.Delivered was faster than expected and... Wow! I expected something bigger, but was beautifully surprised , how light and stylish the lights are and really bright light at the same time. Lovely product and I would strongly recommend!

Some helpful info-unpack and take of the plastic, leave outside for about a day(doesn't have to be sunny) before using- switching between modes is abit confusing as the booklet isn't clear, it has 3 modes, use the button in the middle to cycle through them. Test in a dark room or cover up the sensor with your hands.I used some strong outdoor double sided tape, so far its held up. The light is very bright, we placed them on the side of our house (no direct sunlight) however they still work every night. The motion detection works and is sensitive enough to pick up cars driving in and people walking past.Make sure you place them high enough and test around with the motion detection zones.Only negative would be to include more settings on the light.

However the light isn’t bright enough - like a normal light and one stopped working in a day. Tried to ask for a replacement one and it was so hard to get the contact information for the company and then they asked for a video of the light to be emailed but didn’t supply an email address - how helpful - so I spent more time farting around trying to find the company details to see an email and even send an amazon message again to them saying I don’t know their email address - not heard anything and I’m now frustrated. Light is still not working so I’ve decided to return them as I have no faith. Better off with electric lights that will do the job perfectly 100% of the time

- What colour temp? will they work under a small porch if used on pir only?I would say the colour temp is 6000k ( white daylight ), as to the p.i.r ( the movement sensor ) it should work if you have good line of sight for movement detection, also you'll need to make sure the solar panel is getting enough sunlight to recharge ( as you said its under a porch ). - my light will be sited under a canopy - 2 foot overhang so no sun. will the light still work?Depending on the canopy for example tree branches or a solid porch.
