I thought I would pay more for a ‘better’ lantern and purchased this one from Amazon. Unnecessarily awkward to fit and not exactly high quality, and now it’s failed after less than six months! Waste of money.

I wish I could buy another at the same price. Still love the lamp, but, the bulb has gone within a few weeks, disappointing !!

An offset metal bar takes some care to get the unit level. Also the wiring is not sealed in the back of the unit so sealant around the fitting is advised. Overall it works well and provides satisfactory lighting.

- Do these dusk till dawn lights work on UK 240v as they say 120v?Yes they do that’s what I have mine in great lights
- 'decorative outdoor wall lantern - no mention of light sensor in the instructions. is this correct? should light sensor be mentioned?There is a sensor in this light, but in needs to be switched on. In daylight it will switch off, but will stay on during darkness. It is not a movement sensor. i.e. If switched off at night, it will not switch on when movement occurs.
- What ĺumen can you use and what size is suppliedI have 2 of these lamps, the above video shows what we are using, one of the supplied bulbs only lasted for a couple of weeks, but the other one is still working after six months. They are very good lamps, give lots of light too. I hope this helps.
- Can I adjust the dusk to dawn sensor as staying on all day under porch?I have two of these lamps, and one of them works 100% but the other one which is on a garage wall with a bit of an overhang above it (gutter) I’ve had to turn off, as it works perfectly in the brighter summer mornings, but it was staying on all day as soon as the days got duller, I’m sorry I can’t be.
