- how heavy is it to put up?We have two of these. One at home and one at our caravan. They so far are pretty sturdy and fairly light. They come in two sections - base pole clips into the top main umbrella section. I would say together the whole thing weighs in at about 3-4kg. Hope this helps? Jason
