  Nice But Not The Best

  This is a nice looking lamp, lights up and has different modes, can connect to the app etc...But it's very buggy:Every time you turn the lamp on, it goes back to the default settings, so you lose everything.The connected app is buggy, so you cannot adjust the "daylight" setting, it just turns the lamp off.If you enable the colour mode, it just cycles through every colour despite what you set and doesn't stay on a fixed one.

  Brilliant little lamp

  The media could not be loaded. For £27.99 this seems like quite an expensive lamp compared to some others on the market, however the built in Bluetooth that allows you to connect this to your phone and home assist devices, along with the amount of settings and adjustability, makes this a great little lamp that’s well worthy the money.The initial set up for this lamp is great. You just plug it in and it’s ready to be used manually. A single tap will turn it on then holding down the touch area will change the setting to music mode (the light changes colour to the music), then holding down again will change the light to colour mode (the light slowly changes between all its colours. Or you can just simply tap it again to turn it off.Setting it up to work with your phone and voice controls through echo devices is a tad more complicated but still easy enough. I was glad to see that I could use my current smart home app (Tuya Smart) which made it easier but the instructions also point you in the right directing of apps thy also work. To connect it you just need to hold down the Bluetooth button on the bottom of the lamp, which makes it flash, and then find it on the app. It automatically popped up on mine and connected within 30 seconds.Once it’s connected to your phone you can then use that as a remote to change the brightness, colour and fully control the lamp. Some apps will automatically also connect it to your echo devices but others may need you to use your Alexa app and connect it there too. You can change the name of the device to whatever you want on either app and use that name as the voice control for it. I choice to simple stick with touch lamp (as seen in the video).Once connected it works perfectly. There’s no delays or issues with changing the settings and my echo devices happily switch it on, off, change colour and adjust the brightness. Of course you can also still control it manually if needed as well.Overall I’m really pleased with this lamp, all it’s function and it’s overall look. It works well and makes life so much easier. It’s something I would definitely recommend.

  Nice Smart Lamp at a reasonable price.

  The media could not be loaded. As usual, the package arrived very quickly from Amazon.This Etersky Smart Wi-Fi Lamp arrived packaged inside a box. Also inside the box was a set of instructions and a power cord with plug attached (see photos).When I removed the Lamp from the box, I was really happy that it looked just like it did in the listing, a white minimalist cylinder, just what I wanted.Next I connected the power cord to the underneath of the Lamp, plugged it in and switched it on, I opened the Tuya app as I already have it installed on my phone (not the SmartLife app as you can use either ), in the top right hand corner I tapped the '+' sign, when I did that, a ‘pop up’ appeared on the screen with the Lamp, I tapped on that and it started installing, after this it was just a matter of connecting to my Wi-Fi by pressing the Wi-Fi button underneath the lamp, and hey presto, all set up.I changed the name of the Etersky Smart Wi-Fi Lamp in the app to ‘Touch Lamp’.Next I went to my Alexa app, found the Lamp and changed the name to ‘Touch Lamp’ as she still had the old name (see video).This Etersky Smart Wi-Fi Lamp has to be one of the easiest smart appliances I have ever set up, and I have quite a few, I like the controls in the app for the white setting from cool white to warm white, I also like the colour range. You can also set it to different scenes, and also to flash to sounds like music playing from your phone or your voice. You can also set a schedule for the Lamp to come on and go off at certain times of your choice.As well as being able to control the Lamp through the app and voice control with Alexa or Google Hone, it is also a Touch Lamp, you can tap it on the top, to turn it off and on, and if you hold your hand on the top it goes through several colours.The price is also very reasonable at £27.99 as at the time of writing this review, and at the momnet there is a voucher with 10% off bring it down to £25.19, which makes the price even better..Would I recommend this Etersky Smart Wi-Fi Lamp, absolutely!I hope you have found this review, photos and video helpful.

  Not battery, mains or USB power bank, sticky controls via app.

  I found this to be not battery powered but has to be used by a USB supply instead.This lamps touch sensitive on the top and can have a quick press or hold for a longer press function to change the colour or switch on and off the light.The app is a hit and miss whether it changes the colour to what you pick as a few times i changed the colour on the app and hasn't moved from the previous colour, so that is a teething problem, hopefully an app update will solve that issue in due course.But the lamp in itself is useful and perfect for low level lighting or using in a kids bedroom, as the light can be changed on the top using the touch controls too.I would suggest if you have one, to change the plug for a USB cable as the adapter plug is smaller than the required size that a BS1363 width should have (to prevents fingers going around the outer edge of the plug and touching the pins as it is being inserted or removed from a standard socket.

  Very pretty design but few hiccups

  I have a few smart devices at home that include light bulbs, Alexa, a smart lamp, and even a hoover, but I was looking to get a small bedside lamp that I could move around depending on where I need it and that I could operate via touch too (had similar lights like this in the past, but they were not a smart option just a normal one).To start off, the lamp comes in a nicely designed box that will be easy to wrap up if you would like to give it to someone as a gift. The lamp is in a really lovely shape and is made of excellent quality materials. To make it work, you will have to plug it in via wire with a UK plug. You will get a manual of how to operate the lamp in few languages, but I never read those, to be honest. I just attached the lamp to my Smart Life App, where I have all my other smart devices connected, and it went smoothly with no issues.No please remember you have to be connected on 2.4GHz bandwidth as otherwise, you will not be able to connect it. If you do not know how to share your broadband to 2.4GHz and 5GHz, I would recommend contacting your internet provider.After connecting the lamp to my app, I changed its name, so it was easier for me to ask Alexa to operate it. You can change the colours and intensity of the light by touching the plate on the top of the lamp, but I have to say it doesn’t work as well as I wished it did - my simple rechargeable lamp was much better.Another thing that I was uncertain about was the possibilities of changing colours and intensity via the app, which was really difficult for me to use - nothing like my smart lightbulbs. Please note that's not due to the app setup but the way this smart device is - not a fan.Overall, I think it is a nice lamp to get either for yourself or others for their birthday, so I recommend this choice.

  Brilliant voice control and colours are great

Very impressed with this night light it comes well packed and protected and comes with UK Power leadThere is a tidy Grove for the power lead to sit flush on the surface the colours are great and very vibrant not the brightest but decent it has a touch function which can be fidly to get down but tap it on off hold for steady colourBut most importantly it's the best voice activated light I have only govee come close and turn on in sync with Google homeThe app is required for Google and Alexa though I have not tested alexa Google works fine its accurate with colour and not disconnected once up until now and it's been in use almost 2 weeks no problemIt's made from a heavy duty plastic and has like a glass outer coating I think polished plasticBut looks cool when next to my old one it looks so much better and functions better too it's priced about right as the cheaper ones aren't great and this one is considering its only a little more I have left this out on my 2nd desk for ambient glow and back ground colour for pictures and content it looks nice is very well made for such a basic lamp and works better than expected I can recommend this for bedrooms gaming rooms homes even hotels etc it is brilliant in my opinion
