- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 November 2020It really is a fabulous lamp, cannot recommend highly enoughI love love love this lamp, easy to put up, look great and the different levels of brightness are great for doing various activities these dark nights. I bought it because of the fact it has a remote control, as wanted it in a place where I have to reach over a sofa to turn on and off, so if you need a lamp for an awkward place to reach, this lamp is a must. I’m waiting for payday so I can get another one for my bedroom so I can read In bed without having to get up and turn out the lights. The warm white glow is so cosy too, my lounge looks wonderful with the warm light on a low setting, and then I just turn up the light brightness on the remote to be able to read. Even has a setting for computer work, which I have to say is brilliant. I love my new lamp ., nd no they have not paid me for such a great review, just a really happy customer hahaha
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 31 May 2021Convenient, remote operated, bright LED lampFirstly, I’m going to say that, overall, so far this has been a good purchase.My one outstanding complaint, which probably goes for a large number of similar products, is that the base isn’t wide enough or heavy enough. Absolutely fine on solid floors and if using the remote. We found out not so fine on deep pile carpet for an 80 yr old who ended up securing it using a curtain tie back to stop it tipping over when adjusting the lamp position.The lamp we were replacing it with had a wider and heavier base that never moved.The brightness level on maximum is not as bright as the old mini halogen filament bulb unit. But it’s plenty bright enough, with a good range of adjustment in the brightness to find a level that suits you.And I like you can switch to different colours from near standard filament ‘orange’ to bright blue-white.And the remote is wireless, small and easy to use.Also like the remote has magnets so it will stick to the pole section anywhere.My dad always worries about things like “how do you change the bulb?”. You can’t, so you have to hope the bank of LED’s last. We’ll see!

It's one of the best lamps I've bought for a while. Quick delivery and it was well packed the quality of the lamp is good a little pricey but still worth the extra.

Several preset buttons on the remote to adjust the light intensity and colour (for reading, natural daylight, night light etc.) which can be attached magnetically to the stem. All round excellent item.

The remote control works well, but the instrucitons for its use are not very satisfacory (booklet in such small print you can scarcely read it without a magnifying glass!!) I needed help in assembling the light when it arrived.Instructons rather daunting,but the electrician who helped me found no problems.
