  Included instructions are poor.

  The product was adequately packed.All elements of the un-assembled lamp were attached to each other by the very thin wires carrying current to the two luminaires. Care not to damage the wires is essential when unpacking,One wire was found to have the insulation scraped away exposing the bare metal conductor. It was necessary to tape this to prevent shorting to the metal structure.Assembly was not straightforward. There is a real danger of straining/breaking the wires.Some parts of the assembly were not obvious, even with the instructions and required much thinking 'out of the box' to understand how the parts fitted together. Some parts of the assembly required two pairs of hands.In summary, this should only be assembled by a team of watch-makers and micro-electronics technicians with at least twenty five years of experience.Once assembled, it worked well.

  Light Bulbs are not renewable - when the bulb goes the total lampstand is useless!!!

  Light Bulbs are not renewable - when the bulb goes the total lampstand is useless & has to disposed of. This was not made clear in the product description on Amazon website.The lamps give good illumination but how long will the LED lights last??

  Does what it should.

  As a replacement for an almost identical halogen unit, it fits in perfectly and looks very good. The light is not quite as bright as the halogen one, but it is more than sufficient, and a lot cheaper to run. Very pleased.

  LED bulbs NOT replaceable - you have to buy the whole thing again...

  Needs assembly which is not as easy as it could be due to instructions. BUT main thing is that the LED lamps are NOT replaceable - and when they ‘go’ you have to buy another ‘luminaire’..... NOT impressed.

  A very useful light

  Design and manufacture good. Looks smart in the lounge and provides good light for reading and background illumination. Assembly is straightforward when you read the instructions carefully and relate these to the components. Delivery fast: price only 50% of the upmarket furniture shops and non-the worse for that. Why 4 stars? nothing is perfect.

  Good, bright lamp

  This lamp is quite lightweight and provides a lot of light for its size; I've been keeping the ceiling lights off when this has been on. In terms of assembly it's relatively straightforward, although mounting mechanism for the top light could be better. Only thing I would say is putting the dimmer switch on the top lamp at near halfway makes the lamp emit a high pitched buzz, but adjust it slightly and it'll go.

  This is an excellent, well-made product which arrived well-packaged, undamaged and promptly. Neither of the lamps is quite as bright as the 300watt uplighter it replaced but that hardly matters; it’s more than adequate and obviously costs significantly less to run. No doubt our other uplighter will be replaced with another one of these in due course.
